This class covers basic information regarding photo and data storage on cellular devices and home computers. This class requires participant interaction, specifically regarding question and answer periods to review where imagery and video is stored on cellular devices and the purpose of why that information should be backed up to a second storage device. This class gives participants an opportunity to bring in cellular devices and laptops, and we’ll walk through actual back-up processes of phone imagery and video to laptops. Participants are also encouraged to bring laptops and other forms of external storage devices to walk through step-by-step procedures on how to backup data. Introduction to Fly FishingFly fishing is generally thought of as a sport best enjoyed in the setting of mountain streams catching trout or salmon. While these waters are great places to fly fish, you can catch a variety of fish and have the same great fly fishing experiences in your local warm water lakes and ponds. This class helps the beginning or novice fly fisher learn the basic principles associated with fly fishing. Learn more about more about the equipment necessary for getting started, how to properly set up a fly rod, become familiar with the basic principles of fly casting, and understand the use of flies and common fly fishing strategies necessary for

Drivers EducationThis course is a state approved driver safety course for high school students ages 14-17. This course is not state approved for adults 18 years of age and older. Students complete 20 hours of classroom time and drive 2-5 hours with a Competency Certified Instructor. Eligible students must obtain a valid learner’s permit and be at least 14 years of age by October 15, 2015 to register. Principles of Fly CastingIf you thought casting a fly line was too complicated for you to master, you’ll be surprised to learn that with the knowledge of a few basic principles, a little personal instruction, and some practice, anyone can become proficient enough at fly casting to enjoy the sport of fly fishing. In this class, we review the basic principles of fly casting, learn common fly casting techniques used in a variety of fly fishing situations, and devote time to personal instruction and casting practice. Participants must bring a properly set up and functional fly rod to class for personal instruction and practice. To experience maximum learning from this class, the participant should also have completed the Introduction to Fly Fishing class. Class size is limited in order to provide individualized attention and instruction.

If you are a business owner or considering starting your own business, this information is a must for you, or anyone who handles your bookkeeping. The presentation covers all areas of sales and use tax, including licensing requirements, exemptions, reporting, and taxable services. There is plenty of time for questions and answers. Construction Contractors Sales TaxThe presentation begins with general information that applies to all areas of sales and use tax, exemptions, and taxable services, and a brief overview of court cases that affect manufacturers and the machinery and equipment exemption. After the overview of sales tax, there is a discussion on specific topics including Internet sales and

the taxability of various types of digital transfers. Attendees are encouraged to ask for information on any sales and use tax topics that are relevant to their practice. Additionally, the presenter finishes by reviewing contractor licensing requirements, contractor registration, contractor options, exemptions, reporting, and taxable services. The Adult Education, GED, and ESL programs provide instruction that helps individuals acquire the academic skills necessary for employment or admission to college and occupational or training programs. Anyone over 18 years of age or older who is not enrolled in another school is eligible for enrollment. Please call 308.635.6769 regarding special enrollment requirements for 16- and 17-year-olds. Some students may wish to work on all the subjects necessary to take the GED tests and others may only need to improve skills, such as math or reading, to improve their employment opportunities.
