CRE Staff from 5th Hull helped to staff the Boys’ Brigade stall at the Christian Resources Exhibition in Harrogate. These are worn with black trousers, socks and shoes. They also wear an armband for their badges on their right arm. Battalion Colours Last Monday a small group of 5th Hull youngsters and staff went to 7th Hull Company, based at Clowes Methodist Church, to hand over the Battalion colours. The receiving of the colours was a great honour for a small company like Clowes and 5th Hull were only too happy to help out at the presentation ceremony. Four youngsters from Junior and Company Sections at 5th Hull spent the summer holidays working together on the Operation Lifestyle Scheme. The team, Jack, Jaymz, Nathan and Ashley, with help from their parents, organised numerous sales in the local area and sponsored events during the school summer holidays and raised over £150.00. The youngsters then decided to donate the money raised to 5th Hull Company. The money was gratefully received and will go towards purchasing some new camping and expedition equipment for the Company.
