School Plan – Strategic Directions

Our school has drafted three Broad Strategic Directs and Purpose Statements that will form the basis of our Strategic Improvement Plan 2021 - 2024. We will have these finalised by the end of the 2020 school year.

1. Student Growth and Attainment - To maximise student learning outcomes in Literacy and Numeracy and to build strong foundations for academic success, we will further develop and refine data driven teaching practices that are responsive to the learning needs of all students.

2. Effective Classroom Practice - Effective classroom practice ensures classes are set up for academic success and teachers are committed to identifying, understanding and implementing the most effective and explicit teaching methods, with the highest priority given to evidence-based teaching strategies.

3. Data Informed Practice - Data Informed Practice creates the systematic use of a variety of forms and levels of data to improve student learning, classroom practice and overall wellbeing.

COVID-safe summer packs

As we come closer to the end of the 2020 school year, we ask that you continue to promote healthy hygiene practises to our students through the summer holidays. To help maintain the current transmission rate at zero, a COVID-safe summer pack will be distributed to all students. They contain hand sanitisers and other products to help them maintain healthy hygiene practises and to stay COVID-safe during the school holidays. Priority for the distribution of the packs to schools in the first instance will be to those that have had identified COVID-19 cases throughout 2020 as well as high schools.
