The practical, economic and ecological alternative to the wine bottle

The keg itself is a steel keg with a dip tube (pump) just like a beer keg, the

outside can be rubber-coated to meet temperature fluctuations and to

protect the keg, the content of the kegs measures 20 liters.

The wine is tapped with nitrogen (N2) which acts as a propellant, but also

protects against oxidation. Basically, a keg –connected or not – has an

unlimited best-before date, the empty keg has been sterilized before the

filling and the wine is protected by the nitrogen.

Never tap your wine with carbonic dioxide (CO2)! It mixes with the wine

and causes pearl formation. Moreover, carbonic dioxide turns the wine

taste and reduces the best-before date. Nitrogen is inert and doesn’t mix

with the liquid. There is no loss, every liter of wine can be consumed, no

foam is created when tapping. Even the last glasses out of a keg can be

sold. The wine lines don’t require a lot of maintenance, make sure the lines

are always filled with wine. When the keg is empty …immediately connect

a new one.

It isn’t necessary to clean the lines between two kegs, it is however

recommended to regularly clean the keg couplers. Depending on the

tapped volume, the tartaric acid crystals have to be dissolved and

removed from the lines once or twice a year.

Throughout the year, the wine taste and wished temperature remain

constant. The white wine runs through the beer cooler, the red wine runs

directly from the keg to the tap. Rosé and sparkling wines also run through

the cooler.

Installation:

z a (beer)tap installation with cooler for white wine, with or without

cooling coils.

The cooling coil can run through the column to the tap, every

centilitre of wine is cold.

An alternative: a wine tapping plant with a built-in cooler and 3

taps, 2 cooled and 1 non-cooled. This plant can be placed on a bar

or table (see enclosed picture).

z A nitrogen bottle with nitrogen pressure gauge and telltale clocks.

z Cage-s-keg couplers, the same coupler for all wines.

z Red wine runs from the keg to the tap.

z Nitrogen pressure valve - pressure gauge, keg couplers and

adjustments to the installations are at our expenses.

Advantages compared to bag in box (BIB):

The alternative BIB are highly perishable goods: the white wine will

keep for about 3 months, the red wine for about 6 months after filling.

There is still no legislation concerning the best-before dates. You don’t

know anything about the age of the product. A plastic bag offers little

protection against oxidation: the wine turns yellow and wears out fast.

Moreover, wine isn’t milk or a soft drink: it deserves better.

Carafes – bottles – ice buckets

When you don’t want any carafes on the table, we can give you nice

and solid bottles with waterproof labels and cap. You can use them

over and over again.

The cleaning and filling of these bottles doesn’t require more time

than pulling a cork.

You can present the bottle in an ice bucket (see enclosed picture).

Wine in bottles or carafes is an economic and time-saving solution for

all-in formulas, tapping beer is much more work intensive and also

more expensive than placing a carafe or bottle on the table.

The practical, economic and ecological alternative to the wine bottle

The keg itself is a steel keg with a dip tube (pump) just like a beer keg, the

outside can be rubber-coated to meet temperature fluctuations and to

protect the keg, the content of the kegs measures 20 liters.

The wine is tapped with nitrogen (N2) which acts as a propellant, but also

protects against oxidation. Basically, a keg –connected or not – has an

unlimited best-before date, the empty keg has been sterilized before the

filling and the wine is protected by the nitrogen.

Never tap your wine with carbonic dioxide (CO2)! It mixes with the wine

and causes pearl formation. Moreover, carbonic dioxide turns the wine

taste and reduces the best-before date. Nitrogen is inert and doesn’t mix

with the liquid. There is no loss, every liter of wine can be consumed, no

foam is created when tapping. Even the last glasses out of a keg can be

sold. The wine lines don’t require a lot of maintenance, make sure the lines

are always filled with wine. When the keg is empty …immediately connect

a new one.

It isn’t necessary to clean the lines between two kegs, it is however

recommended to regularly clean the keg couplers. Depending on the

tapped volume, the tartaric acid crystals have to be dissolved and

removed from the lines once or twice a year.

Throughout the year, the wine taste and wished temperature remain

constant. The white wine runs through the beer cooler, the red wine runs

directly from the keg to the tap. Rosé and sparkling wines also run through

the cooler.

Installation:

z a (beer)tap installation with cooler for white wine, with or without

cooling coils.

The cooling coil can run through the column to the tap, every

centilitre of wine is cold.

An alternative: a wine tapping plant with a built-in cooler and 3

taps, 2 cooled and 1 non-cooled. This plant can be placed on a bar

or table (see enclosed picture).

Advantages compared to bag in box (BIB):

The alternative BIB are highly perishable goods: the white wine will

keep for about 3 months, the red wine for about 6 months after filling.

There is still no legislation concerning the best-before dates. You don’t

know anything about the age of the product. A plastic bag offers little

protection against oxidation: the wine turns yellow and wears out fast.

Moreover, wine isn’t milk or a soft drink: it deserves better.

Carafes – bottles – ice buckets

When you don’t want any carafes on the table, we can give you nice

and solid bottles with waterproof labels and cap. You can use them

over and over again.

The cleaning and filling of these bottles doesn’t require more time

than pulling a cork.

You can present the bottle in an ice bucket (see enclosed picture).

Wine in bottles or carafes is an economic and time-saving solution for

all-in formulas, tapping beer is much more work intensive and also

more expensive than placing a carafe or bottle on the table.

The practical, economic and ecological alternative to the wine bottle

The keg itself is a steel keg with a dip tube (pump) just like a beer keg, the

outside can be rubber-coated to meet temperature fluctuations and to

protect the keg, the content of the kegs measures 20 liters.

The wine is tapped with nitrogen (N2) which acts as a propellant, but also

protects against oxidation. Basically, a keg –connected or not – has an

unlimited best-before date, the empty keg has been sterilized before the

filling and the wine is protected by the nitrogen.

Never tap your wine with carbonic dioxide (CO2)! It mixes with the wine

and causes pearl formation. Moreover, carbonic dioxide turns the wine

taste and reduces the best-before date. Nitrogen is inert and doesn’t mix

with the liquid. There is no loss, every liter of wine can be consumed, no

foam is created when tapping. Even the last glasses out of a keg can be

sold. The wine lines don’t require a lot of maintenance, make sure the lines

are always filled with wine. When the keg is empty …immediately connect

a new one.

It isn’t necessary to clean the lines between two kegs, it is however

recommended to regularly clean the keg couplers. Depending on the

tapped volume, the tartaric acid crystals have to be dissolved and

removed from the lines once or twice a year.

Throughout the year, the wine taste and wished temperature remain

constant. The white wine runs through the beer cooler, the red wine runs

directly from the keg to the tap. Rosé and sparkling wines also run through

the cooler.

Installation:

z a (beer)tap installation with cooler for white wine, with or without

cooling coils.

The cooling coil can run through the column to the tap, every

centilitre of wine is cold.

An alternative: a wine tapping plant with a built-in cooler and 3

taps, 2 cooled and 1 non-cooled. This plant can be placed on a bar

or table (see enclosed picture).

z A nitrogen bottle with nitrogen pressure gauge and telltale clocks.

z Cage-s-keg couplers, the same coupler for all wines.

z Red wine runs from the keg to the tap.

z Nitrogen pressure valve - pressure gauge, keg couplers and

adjustments to the installations are at our expenses.

Advantages compared to bag in box (BIB):

The alternative BIB are highly perishable goods: the white wine will

keep for about 3 months, the red wine for about 6 months after filling.

There is still no legislation concerning the best-before dates. You don’t

know anything about the age of the product. A plastic bag offers little

protection against oxidation: the wine turns yellow and wears out fast.

Moreover, wine isn’t milk or a soft drink: it deserves better.

Carafes – bottles – ice buckets

When you don’t want any carafes on the table, we can give you nice

and solid bottles with waterproof labels and cap. You can use them

over and over again.

The cleaning and filling of these bottles doesn’t require more time

than pulling a cork.

You can present the bottle in an ice bucket (see enclosed picture).

Wine in bottles or carafes is an economic and time-saving solution for

all-in formulas, tapping beer is much more work intensive and also

more expensive than placing a carafe or bottle on the table.
