Until now, glass doors limited themaximum temperature to +80℃, butthe Ultra View Temperature andHumidity Chamber allows a greatlyincreased maximum temperature of +120℃. This feature now enables high-temperature testing of products like on-board vehicle components.

High-precision temperatureand humidity control over awide rangeThe use of a refrigeration system equip-ped with an electronic auto-expansionvalve featuring stepless control makes itpossible to realize high-precisiontemperature and humidity control over awide range. The lower limit of thetemperature control range is +10℃ (at50 to 90%rh) and the lower limit of thehumidity control range is 20% rh (at +70℃ to +85℃).

Network system E-PILOT 21 (Optional)E-PILOT 21 is ESPEC's suite ofnetworking tools for communicatingbetween a computer and our environmentaltesting chambers. Clear from dew condensationfor increased visibility(patent pending)

Both sides of the viewing window aretemperature-controlled to prevent dewcondensation due to temperature/humidity changes—enabling a clearview of specimens throughout the entiretest process.

Brighter chamber interior

A fluorescent light is fitted above theviewing window to provide adequatelighting to specimens.

Optional reach-in ports on the door glass

The reach-in ports covers can be swungopen and closed sideways with the pressof a button. The simple locking mecha-nism allows the covers to be detachedand reattached easily. The reach-in portscovers can also be detached whenhandling test pieces for extendedperiods.

Dew condensation protectionmaintained even with thereach-in ports installed(patent pending)

The inclusion of the reach-in portsrenders dew condensation more likely tooccur around the holes. We havetherefore developed an innovativesystem to prevent this phenomenon,ensuring a clear operator view.

Door self-closing preventionand unlocking function

The hinges are designed to prevent thedoors from closing on their own. Doorsare held open at 60°and 120°. Moreover, a door unlocking handle (type4 model only) is installed inside thechamber, so that the door can be openedfrom the inside in the event someone islocked in by mistake.

Detailed safety precautions

The electric circuit compartment is keptcompletely separate from the watercircuits to prevent damage in the eventof water leak. A number of additionalsafety devices and features are alsoincluded, such as a warning buzzerwhen the door is opened halfway.

Door dew tray

The door is equipped with a dew tray toprevent dripping when the door isopened and closed.

Easy cleaning of condenser filter

The condenser filter on the left side of thechamber can be removed and reinstalledfor easy cleaning (excluding model 4).

Cartridge tank system foreasy water supply

The water supply system uses a fixedtank as well as a cartridge tank. Anwarning buzzer goes off user when thecartridge tank is empty. The fixed tankallows uninterrupted water supply whilethe cartridge tank is removed for filling.

Unnecessary manual feeding/ draining of humidification water

Setting the drain switch to AUTO auto-matically feeds or drains water insidethe humidification tray depending on theoperational status. As a result, duringtemperature pull-down at temperaturesbelow 0℃, the humidifying water doesnot require manual draining, so thewater can be fed and drained auto-matically during both temperature andtemperature-humidity operations.

Variety of program settingsprovidedIn addition to 10 standard programs, upto 20 program patterns can be stored inmemory (1 pattern consisting of 99steps; patterns can be linked).Each step can be set in one-minute unitup to 999 hours and 59 minutes, andinserted, copied or deleted. Additional overheat protector

To prevent overheating inside thechamber and prevent the specimensfrom being damaged, an upper temp-erature limit alarm and overheat pro-tector have been incorporated in thechamber as standard. An additionaloverheat protector can be installed.

Overcool protector

If the temperature inside the chamberdecreases excessively, the chamberstops operating to prevent the speci-mens from being damaged.

Defrost circuit

Quickly defrosts the refrigerationcircuit(dehumidifier).

Frost-free circuit

Prevents the refrigeration circuit(dehumidifier) from frosting, thusenabling continuous chamber opera-tion.

Operating panel cover

Plastic cover for the operating panel.

Filter clogged alarm

An indicator lights up if clogging ofthe refrigerator condenser filter causesthe cooling air flow velocity to fallbelow its specified value.

Trouble buzzer

If a malfunction occurs, the buzzersounds to warn you of the malfunc-tion.

Rotating type warning signal light

A signal light to light up when malfun-ction occurs. (selection of red or yellow)

External alarm terminal

If the safety device of the chamberactivates, the alarm is notified to adistance via the external alarm termi-nal.

Emergency stop switch

Stops the chamber immediately.

Temperature attainment output

When temperature and humidity in thechamber reach the set values, thechamber outputs contact signals. Thisoutput is used for adjusting the timingfor measurement or application ofelectrical current to specimens, andalso prevents condensation from form-ing on specimens.

Humidifier delay control

To protect specimens from condensa-tion, humidity cdontrol starts aftertemperature reaches the set value.

Integrating hour meter with reset

This integrating hour meter can bereset if necessary.(An integrating hour meter is availa-ble as standard.)

Time up output

At time up, the chamber outputscontact signals using the timerfunction of temperature (& humidi-ty) controller. This function enablescurrent to flow or to stop flowingthrough specimens.

Additional relay contact

The standard 2 relay contacts (timesignals) can be added to 12 contacts.(10 contacts for PDR and PDL)

Water purifier (WS-1)

Water purifier with reverse osmosismembrane. Produces approx 6.6Lper hour (at primary water temp +10℃). Water supplier D is required.
