About Your Seminar Instructor:Mark Caruso is Managing Partner of SUCCESS ASSOCIATES, LLC a company specializing in succession planning training, succession planning consulting and software as a service for succession planning and leadership development. Mark founded Success Associates, Inc. in 1996 and served as its President until 2008 when with investments from venture capitalists Success Associates, LLC was launched. In 2009 a second round of capital funding was acquired. For almost two decades, Mark has been one of the top rated workshop events regularly sponsored by major conference producers including: The HR Advisory Council and the HR IQ divisions of the International Quality and Productivity Center (IQPC); Marcus Evans Conferences

(USA and Asia Pacifi c); Linkage; American Society for Training and Development (ASTD); and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The United States Offi ce of Personnel Management selected Mark Caruso and Success Associates’ methodology to be the sole source provider to the Federal Executive Board.

During his career Mark served as Executive Vice President, Executive Resourcing Division for TMP Worldwide; Senior Vice President HR, for Choice Hotels, International; and Vice President, Worldwide HR Development for Holiday Inn Worldwide. Mark’s early HR career was at Federal Express where he was promoted 4 times in 8 years.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science double major in Psychology and Sociology and a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. He completed further postgraduate work at Memphis State University and helped design and completed the Consortium Executive Education Program for Senior Managers at the Graduate Business School of Emory University.
