Patrachar Vidyalaya is the pioneer

institution in the field of Correspondence

Education at school level. It was established

in January 1968 with the sole purpose of

opening new vistas of education for the

drop-outs and those belonging to weaker

sections of society who could not continue

their educational facilities. Admissions are

opened for following categories:

1. Those who are residing in Delhi (Proof

of residence of Delhi is required as per

guidelines given in prospectus).

2. Soldiers posted in the border regions.

3. Wards of Indian National residing

abroad and working in India Missions.

4. Drop outs Male and Female( who are

not able to go to regular schools)

The Patrachar Vidyalaya runs under the

administrative and fiscal control of the

Directorate of Education, Delhi. The

Director of Education, Govt. of NCT, Delhi

has the right to modify the rules and

regulations regarding admissions or

withholding the candidature of any student

if considered necessary. All the disputes

and court cases be settled in Delhi Courts

only.

Caution:

Patrachar Vidyalaya has not authorized any

outside individual or agency or consultancy

or academy or any organization like

Coaching Center to work on its behalf in any

manner. If at any stage, it is found that the

candidate has taken the help of any of

these private agencies for seeking

admission to the course or in any other

manner concerning this course, his/her

candidature will be cancelled and fee shall

be forfeited.

1. Character Certificate is not issued to students of Patrachar Vidyalaya.

2. D.T.C. pass is not permissible to Patrachar Vidyalaya Students.

3. No application will be accepted after the expiry of the last date as notified time to time on our website i.e www. edudel.nic.in (Patrachar Vidyalaya Icon)

4. The candidate must submit application form in person only and not through any agent, representative, coaching/ tuition center or any other outside person.

5. Courses Offered:

Patrachar Vidyalaya prepares students for All India Secondary Education Certificate Examinations of CBSE Delhi for IX & X and All India Senior Secondary Education Certificate Examination for XI & XII through non-formal mode.

6. Medium of Examination:

Except in languages, the medium of Examination in other subjects is Hindi/English/ Urdu.

7. Method of Imparting Education

Patrachar Vidyalaya may provide the Support Material to all the students who are enrolled in Patrachar Vidyalaya depending upon the availbilty at DBTB and after obtaining the approval of the Competent Authority. The material is in the shape of printed lessons on all the subjects to supplement the study for text books and to help students to grasp the subject contents in the each subject. Available Support Material based on CBSE syllabus will be provided to the students at free of cost.

Students are advised to personally collect/

receive their study materials from Patrachar

Vidyalaya, BL Block Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-88.

Apart from this Support Material, 'Students

are advised to study with the help of

prescribed books of N.C.E.R.T. /C.B.S.E.

which are easily available in the market.

syllabus.

Personal Contact programme-I & II (P.C.P.-I

& II)

Besides providing printed Support Material

in the form of books/ booklet, Patrachar

Vidyalaya normally organizes two Personal

Contact Programs (PCP-I & II) for 18 days

each, it is mandatory to attend PCP classes

at the centre designated by Patrachar

Vidyalaya. Internal Assessment / ASL of 20

Marks will be conducted during PCP classes

only. Students who remain absent will not

be awarded Internal Assessment/ ASL Marks

and no request in this regard shall be

entertained under any circumstances at

later stage. Students are advised to attend

these classes on the production of Patrachar

Vidyalaya Identity-card at designated PCP

Centre.

Due to the spread of Covid -19 Pandemic ,

schedule of conduct of PCP Classes will be

informed though Circulars at later stage on

our website www.edudel.nic.in ( Patrachar

Vidyalaya Icon) only depending upon the

prevailing situation.

Collection of Admit Card for CBSE

Examination

The students of class X & XII must collect

their CBSE admit card from Patrachar

Vidyalaya personally (subject to deposition

of Exam fee) when notified onour website

on production/submission of the following

Mode of Payment of Admission Fee:

Admission fee must be paid only

through online Payment system. The

procedure for online Fee Payment is

Students must ensure that they fulfil the

criteria of admission & posses required

documents. Fee once deposited shall

not be refunded in any case.

Mode of Payment of Examination Fee:

In the current academic year the

Examination Fee is to be paid alongwith

the Admission Fee at the time of

applying for admission itself. The details

of Examination Fee is annexed with the

prospectus. The Examination fee must

be paid only through online Payment

system. The procedure for online Fee

Payment is annexed in the Prospectus

at CBSE Exam Fee Payment Page. No-

Cash / Draft/ Challan shall be accepted

As a proof of residence candidate may

enclose any one of the following

documents: (All the following

i. Self-attested copy of BPL Card

/Ration Card issued in the name of

parents having name of the

candidate.

ii. Self-attested copy of Voter I-Card

showing the name of the candidate

in legible form. In case of Minor, the

Voter I-Card of his/her parents

/candidate is also acceptable.

bill/MTNL telephone bill/Water bill

in the name of Parents.

Those who are residing outside

India are required to submit N.O.C.

issued by Embassy to CBSE, Patparganj;

one attested copy of NOC should be

submitted to Patrachar Vidyalaya, BL-

Block Shalimar Bagh, Delhi-88.

At the time of Admission following

School Schedule and Holidays

Admission form will be accepted and related

enquiries will be dealt with, between 10.00

am to 4.00pm from Monday to Friday.

Patrachar Vidyalaya, will remain closed on

Saturdays, Sundays and Gazetted Holidays.

In case of urgency the Patrachar Vidyalaya

has to be opened on Holidays for the

students, the prior information will be given

through the Circular on our website

Admission Procedure:

The admissions will be made online from

this academic year. Students are directed to

go through the details about admission

procedure annexed in the •prospectus at

page "procedure for online admission".

The copy of online admission forms duly

filled and signed by the candidate alongwith

the online fee receipt and required

documents to be submitted at the counters

of Patrachar Vidyalaya between 10:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m. on working days

Incomplete/incorrect admission form shall

be treated as cancelled and the

Admission fee/Exam fee shall be forfeited.

The admission shall be treated as confirmed

only when Patrachar Vidyalaya's I-Card is

issued to the students.

Cancellation of Admission

Admission of a student shall be cancelled

without any further intimation under the

following conditions:-

1. If the online admission form is

incomplete/incorrect.

2. If the fee is not paid in full on time as

prescribed in the prospectus.

3. If the supporting documents are not

complete.

4. If required educational qualification is

not fulfilled.

5. If the minimum age criteria is not

fulfilled as mentioned in prospectus.

6. If the incorrect or wrong information is

given.

7. If admission form received after due

date and time.

8. If the documents are fake/bogus.

9. In case of gross indiscipline.

Patrachar Vidyalaya Identity Card :

1. Patrachar Vidyalaya will issue an

identity card to the students after

confirmation of the admission. The

student should paste one photograph on

the I-card at the space provided and get it

signed by the Principal of Patrachar

Vidyalaya. The photograph should be the

same as uploaded in the online admission

form. Students are advised to preserve

and carry P.V. I-Card while visiting

Patrachar Vidyalaya, attending PCP

classes, appearing for

Practical/Assessment exam, collection of

CBSE admit card, SLC, Marks Sheet &

passing certificate etc.

2. Duplicate P.V card - The Duplicate P.V

card (Identity card) will be issued only

once in a session with the fine of Rupees

100/- (one hundred only) paid online

through our website edudel.nic.in

(Patrachar Vidyalaya icon) deposited at

Patrachar Vidyalaya alongwith a copy of

F.I.R and affidavit (as per attached format

Annexure-C) issued by Class One

magistrate regarding the lost Identity

card.

3. Patrachar Identity card will not be

issued thrice in a session.

Re-imbursement of Fee for Govt. Servants

Govt. employees entitled to the

facility of re-imbursement of fee paid by

their wards as per the orders of DoPT

Govt. of India issued time to time, may

submit re-imbursement Performa in the

prescribed format to the Principal

Patrachar Vidyalaya for verification and

signature. The Patrachar Vidyalaya does

not charge any tuition fee. The students

pay admission fee and CBSE Exam fee

only.

Eligibility for Admission a) Those candidates who have

passed/failed in Class VIII in 2021 from a Govt./Govt. Aided/ Recognised school are eligible for class IX admission on submission of original SLC duly countersigned by Competent Authority (DDE Zone)

OR Those candidates who have studied upto Class VIII privately can seek admissions on the basis of affidavit ((as per attached format Annexure-F) along with date of birth proof.

b) The candidate must have completed 13 years of age as on 31St March 2021.

Promotion of (PV) students from Class -

IX to Class-X

The students of Class IX will appear in

the Exams as per details given below:-

1. The students of Class-IX will appear

in the Annual Examination in the

month of February-March as per the

date-sheet & guidelines issued by

the DoE. The students have to

appear in the Examination at the

Exam Centres designated by

Patrachar Vidyalaya.

2. The students will have to appear for

Practical Exams in the concerned

subjects as per the CBSE and DoE

guidelines issued time to time.

3. The students of Class-IX of PV who

pass/fail in Class-IX Exams are

eligible for Admission in Class X in

Patrachar Vidyalaya only. They will

not be issued SLC (Students can not

claim for SLC) of Class-IX for

admission in Class-X in any regular

school.

4. The pass out students of class IX of

Patrachar Vidyalaya shall not be

eligible for admission in class X in

any Govt. /Govt. Aided / Recognized

school or any other school of Delhi

state.

Complete Gap Year

Complete one year gap will not be

considered of those students who had

passed Class-X in Oct./Nov./Dec.

Terms & Conditions

1. Admission in Patrachar Vidyalaya is open for the residents of Delhi only. Proof of residence of Delhi (students or their parents) is

mandatory.

2. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

3. The entire Fee is to be paid by means of Debit Card, Credit Card, online banking and UPI etc. only. No other mode of payment will

be accepted. The amount of bank charges as applicable has to be paid by the candidate in addition to the amount of fee.

4. Dispute regarding admission will be settled within the jurisdiction of Delhi only.

5. All Information/Notification regarding Patrachar Vidyalaya: Admission/Personal Contact Programme Classes/CBSE Exam

Fee/Practices/Exam etc. for students shall be available on our website www.edudel.nic.in (PATRACHAR ICON).

6. The students should check the website regularly and information will not be sent individually.

7. The Patrachar Vidyalaya runs under the administrative and fiscal control at the Directorate of Education GNCT Delhi and is affiliated

to CBSE Delhi.

8. The Directorate of Education GNCT Delhi has the right to modify the rules and regulations regarding Admission or withholding the

conditions of any students if considered necessary.

9. All the disputes and court cases will be settled in Delhi Courts only.

10. Patrachar Vidyalaya has not authorised any outside individual or agency or consultancy or academy of any organisation like

coaching centre to work on its behalf in any manner. If at any stage it is found that the candidate has taken the help of any of these

agencies for seeking admission to the course or in any other manner concerning this course, his/her candidature will be cancelled

and fee shall be forfeited.

11. Only mark sheet/Passing Certificates, Provisional Certificates and SLC will be issued, no other Certificates like Character

Certificate/DTC Passes etc. will be issued by the Patrachar Vidyalaya.

12. Internal Assessments and ASL will be conducted during Personal Contact Programme (PCP) Classes at Personal Contact Programme

(PCP) Centres only. Performed the Attendance in Personal Contact Programme (PCP) Classes is mandatory for the benefits of

students.

13. Change of Subjects is not permitted after the confirmations of the admission.

14. Students will have to abide by the rules, regulations issued by the CBSE, Directorate of Education, time to time.

15. Admission will be confirmed only after verification & Submission of original and photo copy of documents required along with the

printouts of Admission Form and fee receipt required as per prospectus.

16. Entry will be allowed only 20 minute before the allotted time for the verification of documents. The verification will not be

entertained after the allotted date and time under any circumstances since it is computer generated slot (Date and Time).

17. Only candidates will be allowed inside Patrachar Vidyalaya.

18. The entry in the Patrachar Vidyalaya will only be allowed with the mask & maintaining of social distancing due to Covid-19

pandemic.
