    WINNERS OF TROPHIES AND

    CERTIFICATES FOR 2014

The following club members walked away with the following accolades:-

    1. African Telatelist Trophy:

1st (Gold) Certificate & Trophy – Herica Ingham

  • - 11 -

2nd (Silver) Certificate – Warwick Stobrawe 3rd (Bronze) Certificate - Hans Joythe

For 2015 the "African theme" connotation will remain however it will not be limited to Africa phonecards but cover worldwide phonecards with an African related image of any flag of a country in Africa depicted on the phonecard.

    2. Josef Zelenka Trophy: 1st (Gold) Certificate & Trophy – Henrica Ingham 2nd (Silver) Certificate – Warwick Stobrawe 3rd (Bronze) Certificate - Henrica Ingham

For 2015 the trend will continue whereby a member declares his/her theme/s (Max of 3) and then continues to collect these cards throughout the year. A weighting will be linked to the rareness of the theme. Eg Images of dogs vs Images of Paintbrushes would be in the order of 15 to 1 (15 do phonecards to 1 paintbrush phonecard).

    3. Smartex Trophy: Won by – Cedric Edwards

    4. Dr. and Mrs. Nana Trophy: Won by – Henrica Ingham

    5. Vernon Mitchell Trophy:

    Won by – Henrica Ingham

For 2015 the agreed theme will be “Coffee and Tea” phonecards. This means that any phonecard which depicts either the raw materials (ie: Trees/Plants etc) or advertising coffee or tea will qualify as a phonecard)

    6. Presidents Shield: Won by, Tom Dooley for his contribution during 2014 of ensuring ATA took part in the Pretoria Stamp Show exhibits in October 2014.

  • - 12 -

    7. Dawie Schwartz Floating Trophy: Won by Warwick Stobrawe for his contribution the the hobby of Telately during 2014.

Congratulations to all the achievers, it is great to see that we are still able to recognise members for their participation and efforts. Long live Telately.
