The Appalachian Mountains (AKA The Blue Ridge Mountains, The Smokey Mountains) Alternative lifestyle Very liberal place, lots of culture and things going on (music, art, theatre, performance, societies) Fantastic food and drink Asheville is one of the most vegetarian friendly cities in the US with four dedicated vegetarian restaurants and its also Beer City USA with over 20 breweries within 30 miles Nature and surroundings Lots of parks, climbing and walks; great architecture, including Biltmore Great downtown area Easily walkable, lots to do in a few blocks Close(ish) to Taras parents Only a five hour drive! 4. Are You Coming Back To The UK? You bet! Well be back to visit at least once a year Were going to be doing House Swapping, where we exchange houses So a person comes from the UK and lives at our place in Asheville and vice-versa This means that we can stay here for up to a month at a time But, we also want you to come visit us! 5.
