A Look Ahead: Pop-Up Pop Art Show

Ron Campbell—Renowned Animator

July 11th & 12th

Ron Campbell was one of the animators on the

Beatles film Yellow Submarine and the Director of

The Beatles 1960s TV cartoon series. Ron was also

involved in over 50 years of cartoons including

Scooby Doo, The Smurfs, Rugrats, Flintstones,

Jetsons, Winnie the Pooh, George of the Jungle,

Yogi Bear and much more. (His PBS show the Big Blue Marble won his stu-

dio an Emmy and a Peabody).

In his retirement (he is now 77 years old), Ron

appears occasionally at art shows throughout

the world where he showcases his pop art

paintings based on the Beatles cartoons (plus

some of his other popular shows).

At these shows, Ron paints live during the

exhibit, creating new works and does personal

paintings on the Letters of Authenticity for cus-

tomers who purchase any of his works.

A Big Thanks to Artists!

This set of shows has had a positive response from the community. We’d

like to thank Clint Saunders for his photography installation, the 28 artists

who submitted to the African Safari Show and those who provided the dec-

oration that made people feel like we transported them to Africa, and Robert

Martinez for his bold work, both in color and in statement. We couldn’t have

done it without you!
