ROBOTICS RULES!

The Stacey H.S. FRC robotics team competed in the Alamo FIRST Robotics Championship Tournament last weekend. They competed against 62 robots from the U.S. and Mexico,

finishing second in the championship finals. The goal of the competition was to have students design and build a robot that could shoot Frisbees into various height and sized goals on the course. Robot operators were Cody Rivas and Malina Morales with human

player Matt DelVechio. The FRC pit crew included Adam and Chris Miller. 2 FTC teams also participated in a tournament at the same venue with FTC team 3296 making it to the

quarter finals. The team members for FTC 3296 were Ryan Berry, Sam Otto, Kyle Reich, and Martha Deluzio. FTC team 6842 also competed in the tournament. That team included

Mario Salgado, Alexander Petre, and Gabby Tuazon.
