www.milfordschools.org “Rated Excellent In Ohio” For the first time, we had a small fundraiser attached to our book fair. Scholastic allows this as an option for schools to raise funds to provide books for students who cannot normally afford them. Scholastic then matches the funds raised and provides books for students and communities around the country. We made the fundraiser a competition to see who could bring in the most weight of coins. Coins were weighed each day to see who was bringing in the most. We weren’t sure how much we would be able to bring in, so we set a goal of $700. We wound up bringing in over 700 pounds of coins which totaled over $3000! Mrs. Hudson’s PM kindergarten class brought in the most weight in coins. Way to go Mulberry!!! If you stopped by school today for lunch or the book fair, you might have seen a bearded hippie walking around. I’ll know to set higher goals in the future before agreeing to do things like this! Have a terrific weekend!

“Rated Excellent In Ohio”

For the first time, we had a small fundraiser attached to our book fair.
