Telangana State Knowledge Centre (TSKC) also played an important role in enhancing
logical, arithmetic & communication skills of students for competitive students.

Internal exams (2 unit tests, 1 term exam, pre-final exam) were
conducted, and analysed results to conduct remedial classes.
Intensive Examination preparatory program was conducted from

all departments).
Field trips were arranged to provide practical knowledge to the students.
Staff members are motivated to improve API score by attending seminars,
conferences and workshops.

ACTION INITIATION
Staff meeting has been convened under the Chairmenship of the Principal to discuss on feedback
analysis of the feedback teacher performance.
Principal, Vice-principal, academic coordinator and senior teachers of the research committe provided
suggestions to all faculty members to strengthen teaching learning process.

Jignasa-Student study project presentations
Goal 1.To inculcate scientific temper, inquisitiveness research attitude among the
studnets.
2. To apply conceptual learning to practical situations.
3. To expose students to research work and develop structural, logical
thinking process so that students may be attracted to a career in research.
Context . This programme was initiated by Commissionarate of collegeiate
education, Telangana State with the above objectives. The project
presentation programme was conducted at college level, district level and
state level. Teaching faculty was instructed to identify students to work as a
team and select topic. Students were identified as per their academic
interest, creative talent. Subject wise committees were formulated to decide
the topic presentation. Jignasa awareness week was conducted they were
six students in each group. The projects were assigned to the students by
the conserned departments and given time for submission. District level
coordinator was appointed. The selected projects at college level were sent
to district level presentations. District Collector was invited for district level
presentation programme. Subject experts and experienced research
committee members selected projects at district level to present them at
state level programme. Three selected projects in each subjects at state level
were given cash prizes
Rs 25000, Rs18000 and Rs 15000 as first ,second and third prizes

respectively.
Practice & Activities Topics were assigned to the students. They completed their projects under
supervision of their mentor. It was collaborative work. Students presented
their projects at college level on project display date. Research committe
member selected one project from each subject for district level
presentations.
Evidence of success It is very innovative. Students participated very enthusiasitically. Advanced
students learners got opportunity to expose themselves to research work and
to learn more beyond the syllabus. Eight projects were selected at district
level to represent at state level competition. The project work of department
of Zoology got second place at state level and received cash prize of Rs
18000.
Problems Encountered All departments could not identify competent students to take up the
projects as one students can involve in only one project work. Insufficient
time for submission of the projects.
Resources Required Students may be given more time to work on the projects. Orientation for
this programme be given to the students from the first year.
2. Activities for promoting reading habits among the students and motivate them to utilise all
library resources
Goal 1.To inculcate and promote reading habits among the students.2. To
encourage the students to utilize all library resources not only for academic
success but also to enrich their knowledge and wisdom.
Students have little knowledge about library resources and they utilise
library only to borrow academic books . In this context to enlighten and
encourage them to utilise library resources the following activities have been
conducted by department of library and information centre.
1. Library user orientation programme for first years was conducted on
13/11/2017.
2. Celebration of library week and conducted competitions from
14/11/2017 to 20/11/ 2017. Competitions were conducted.

books of their interest on special displays. Students realised the importance
of reading. Many students have been motivated and got benefitted.
Problems Encountered Accommodating students for reading was not conducive to read
books in library.
