Identify/locate the Down wind direction and village fall into predominant down wind direction (one in core zone 0 to 5 km

and one buffer zone 5 to 10 km) and upwind direction (one location).

5.

Segregate no of ambient air location according to 10 km land use area (I.e. Agriculture, Industrial, Domestic, and Vehicular or traffic location). (Approximate identified from the Google

earth data)

1. Identified Major Surface water location within 10 km study

area from the Google earth.

Attached as TRA/EIA/R10B.

2. Prepare no of Ground water location according to land use of the 10 km study area. (i.e., Agriculture, Domestic, Industrial

etc.)

3. If major river available select upstream and downstream of the

river by checking drainage pattern on Google earth.

4. Identified major population available in the study area for

domestic water quality check location selection.

5. Identified any GIDC within the study area for check water

quality of industrial activities.

6. Identified Agriculture land within study area for check water

quality used for agriculture (irrigation).

7. Identified the impact due to source emission on the nearest water body by identified pre dominant down wind direction

map given by AP expert.

8. Identified observations on local surrounding areas of sampling

locations

Pre visit check list Noise Monitoring

from secondary sources including Forest department

2. Prepare 10 km radius topo map and identified type of habitat/ land use in 10 km radius map. (i.e. Forest / Natural vegetation, Type of forest (Tropical dry-deciduous, Tropical moist deciduous, Semi-ever green, Wet ever-green, etc.), Water bodies and Marshy land / Mangroves, Grazing land, Agricultural land, Human Settlements, Barren land, etc.

Noted

3. Determine seasonal variation of the habitats and identified ecological characteristics of each habitat based on secondary information

Noted

4. Prepare wind rose diagram and overlay it on to the Google image to identify the predominant down wind direction and upwind direction and identify project surroundings

Noted

5. Identify the secondary source data (flora & fauna) and check Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), Vulnerable (VU), Near Threatened (NT), Least Concern (LC), Data Deficient (DD), Not Evaluated (NE) etc.

Noted

After successfully completion of the above exercise (BASELINE NETWORK DESIGN) Project

coordinator will finalise the sampling location and allotment the work to TRA laboratory through

TRA/EIA/R05 document.

After that project coordinator will prepare baseline planning document coordinating with project

proponent. Project coordinator will inform to PP for basic arrangement i.e., number of car, local

manpower, and accommodation facilities required for monitoring team. Take prior approval from

the local villages identified in the baseline network design for air monitoring. Project coordinator

also informs to project proponent to make prior discussion with local sarpanch and talati for their

village need base assessment study. In addition to that also informed regarding basic requirements

of all Monitoring team (i.e. breakfast, lunch etc.)

DURING VISIT

After reach at the project site, first introduce our team to project proponent. Vice versa project

proponent will introduce their team. Once completion of introduction, project coordinator will

segregate the team according to pre desk study document as per prefixed requirement of

functional area (i.e., water sampling team, Air sampling, noise sampling, Soil sampling, Socio

Economy study, etc.)

Take photograph of the team and start work according to allotted functional area for Baseline data

collection.

All FAE will get informed by project coordinator to collect precise baseline data for better

understanding regarding site surrounding. It is also informed to collect the photographic evidence

for representing objects for specific functional area and observation must be put into respective

FAE field log book.

Once all the primary baseline data will be collected by respective functional area, FAA, FAE and

Project coordinator will planning for return at destination with fulfilling all necessary requirement

(i.e., ice, other sample preservatives etc.)

Water sample will be stored into the laboratory refrigerator with proper identification.

POST BASELINE VISIT

On the next day water sample from the laboratory will be sent to subcontracted laboratory (NABL

Accredited) for biological parameter analysis.

Project coordinator will collect evidence of the baseline data collection (i.e., photographs from

FAE) and save into the respective company folder for further data interpretation procedure.

Project coordinator will inform to FAE to provide quality checks of their primary data collection

and also ask to provide their report within stipulated time frame given into Bar chart.
