b. Dedicated PhD faculty teaching BSEE (currently only one) should be increased to atleast three (03). EE-Faculty should be devoted to teach its own degree students and must not be involved in teaching other degree programs being offered under School of Science and Technology (SST).

c. UMT should immediately provide a list of all its dedicated faculty members for BSEE program with an undertaking that none of these faculty members shown dedicated to BSEE would be engaged in other program. If any of these faculty members would be planned to be involved with other degree program, UMT would immediately inform PEC for such change in writing. Any discrepancy found in the subsequent PEC visits would call for an immediate withdrawal of accreditation of the program.

d. Starting from Fall-2012 semester, university MUST schedule its class timetable for theory and lab sessions in accordance with PEC guidelines i.e., 1-contact hour for 1-Credit Hr. of theory work and 3-contact hours for 1-Cr. Hr. of lab work.

University is also advised to address rest of the PEC observation mentioned in the report before applying for next re-accreditation in intimation to PEC.

The Intake must be restricted to one entry per year not exceeding 50 students. The House has shown serious concerns on the non-compliance as indicated in the expert visit report. Some remedial education was advised for Batch-2006 earlier along with the direction of remedy and removing serious observations/weak areas for Batch 2007 onwards, despite the university has not taken up any redress to all such deficiencies so far. Further re-accreditation request for assessment would only be entertained at satisfactory compliance report on all the observations by the university.
