COVID-19 RESPONSESafety is our priority. As we look to reopen, we will carefully follow the plans and procedures put in place under guidance from the State of Ohio and the City of Beavercreek.

We strongly encourage all athletes, parents and visitors to review the guidelines included in this document..

We appreciate your cooperation in complying with these directives in order to assure the health and safety of our Beavercreek Soccer Association members.

PARK GENERAL RULES

• NO ANIMALS (except service animals with paperwork and bib) beyond parking lots.

• NO tobacco products, illegal drugs, or chemicals of any kind.

• NO ALCOHOLIC beverages.

• NO un-approved pamphlets, handouts, displays, advertisements, etc.

• NO un-authorized vehicles, scooters, carts or the like beyond parking lots

• NO GUNS or Weapons permitted.

• NO un-authorized Personal Training.

STEP 1 – REOPENING JUNE 22 – JULY 2 – TECHNICAL TRAINING

SAFETY• Ankeney Soccer Complex will reopen and be

available as a local green space for our Beavercreek Soccer Association members.

• No equipment or common areas will be provided for use, and complex access will be limited based on government guidelines.

• Individuals 65 and over and those with high-risk health conditions should avoid coming to the complex.

• The Beavercreek Soccer Association strongly recommends that all individuals wear face coverings, social distance and practice good hygiene.

• Ankeney Soccer Complex members and visitors must follow the CDC social distancing guidelines in order to be onsite with 100 people or less in each designated training area. Please avoid close contact with those around you.

SAFETY

• Coaches and trainers will be required to ensure no athlete shares cups, water bottles or other items.

• Main restroom signage will be displayed to promote safe practices and health guidelines. No port-o-lets will be available at the complex.

• Coaches and trainers will carry hand sanitizer & cleaning wipes at all times when utilizing the complex.

• Digital check in with be required for players participating in activities at the AnkeneySoccer Complex.

• All players should bring their own water bottle, and water bottles should not be shared.

STEP 1 – REOPENING JUNE 22 – JULY 2 – TECHNICAL TRAINING

STRUCTURE

• Ankeney Soccer Complex will reopen on Monday, June 22, 2020.

• The Complex will be available for member use Monday – Thursday from 5 pm – 8 pm only.

• Each division of the BSA will be assigned specific training areas to utilize Monday –Thursday.

• BSA divisions will assign training groups to specific training areas to maintain 6 feet distancing requirements between players and staff.

• All coaches and players are required to submit answers to screening questions prior to arrival at the complex for signs/symptoms of COVID-19.

STRUCTURE• Responses to screening questions will be

recorded and stored for contact tracing purposes if a COVID-19 infection occurs.

• Any person with positive responses on the screening will not be allowed to take part in workouts and should contact their medical provider.

• No equipment or goals will be provided for use. Players should bring and use their own soccer ball.

• Coaches and trainers must clean all equipment used for training after each training session. Use of common training equipment should be minimized.

• Ankeney Soccer Complex members and visitors must follow the CDC social distancing guidelines in order to be onsite with 100 people or less in designated training areas. Please avoid close contact with those around you.

STEP 1 – REOPENING JUNE 22 – JULY 2 – TECHNICAL TRAINING

TRAINING

• Ball mastery & individual skills

• Shooting & crossing balls, Passing & receiving

• Functional training (fitness should be built within training activity)

• Limited to 25 or less players/coach

• Zero tolerance non-contact policy (coach/player or player/player). Must maintain social distancing minimum of 6 feet between participants throughout training.

• Training sessions 60 minutes in duration.

• Avoid general physical interaction including hugging, “high fives” or passing objects by hand.

TRAINING

• No Congregating Policy for players or parents in parking lots, at drop off zones, at entrance / exit areas of facility, or before or after training session.

• Parents should assist in making sure their child sanitizes their ball and training equipment immediately after returning home from training.

• Establish designated drop off and pick up zones for each field, with younger players on fields closest to drop off point – so parents can watch from cars.

• Limit equipment brought to practice, disinfecting all equipment before / after use.

• Do not allow players to share pennies, other equipment, or water bottles.

STEP 2 – JULY 6 – JULY 30 – TEAM TRAINING

SAFETY• Ankeney Soccer Complex will be open and be

available as a training space for the Beavercreek Soccer Association Community.

• A limited number of lined fields in a 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 format with goals will be provided for use.

• Individuals 65 and over and those with high-risk health conditions should avoid coming to the complex.

• The Beavercreek Soccer Association strongly recommends that all individuals wear face coverings, social distance and practice good hygiene.

• Ankeney Soccer Complex members and visitors must follow the CDC social distancing guidelines in order to limit the number of participants to a maximum of two teams per field layout. Please avoid close contact with those around you.

SAFETY

• Coaches and trainers will be required to ensure no athlete shares cups, water bottles or other items.

STRUCTURE

• Ankeney Soccer Complex will open for Step 2 on Monday, July 6, 2020.

• The Complex will be available for member use Monday – Thursday from 5 pm – 8 pm only.

• Each division of the BSA will be assigned specific training areas to utilize Monday –Thursday.

• BSA divisions will assign training groups to specific training areas to maintain social distancing between training groups.

• Team training resumes.

• Limited to 1 team training per half field.

• Once Ohio Department of Health guidelines permit, players can participate in a level of contact as part of training.

• Must maintain social distancing minimum of 6 feet between players and coaches in training when possible based on State of Ohio Guidelines.

• Training sessions of normal duration for age group training.

• Avoid general physical interaction including hugging, “high fives” or passing objects by hand.

TRAINING

• No Congregating Policy for players or parents in parking lots, at drop off zones, at entrance / exit areas of facility, or before or after training session.

• Parents should assist in making sure their child sanitizes their ball and training equipment immediately after returning home from training.

STEP 3 – AUGUST 3 – RETURN TO LOCAL COMPETITION

SAFETY• Ankeney Soccer Complex will plan to open as a

match facility on Monday, August 3, 2020. Match play will be dependent on receiving updated guidelines from the State of Ohio with regard to competitive match play.

• The seasonal field layout will be completed with lined fields in a 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11 format with goals.

• The Celtic training area will be formatted with lines and goals for fall training.

• Individuals 65 and over and those with high-risk health conditions should avoid coming to the complex.

• The Beavercreek Soccer Association strongly recommends that all individuals wear face coverings, social distance and practice good hygiene.

• Ankeney Soccer Complex members and visitors must follow the CDC 6 feet social distancing guidelines when visiting the complex.

STEP 3 – AUGUST 3 – RETURN TO LOCAL COMPETITION

STRUCTURE

• Ankeney Soccer Complex will open for Step 3 local competitive matches on Monday, August 3, 2020 dependent upon updated guidelines from the State of Ohio with regard to competitive match play.

• The Complex will be available for member use Monday –Thursday from 5 pm –9 pm and selected weekend hours.

• Each competitive match will be assigned to a specific field location, date and start time.

• BSA divisions will assign training groups to specific training areas to maintain social distancing between training groups.

• All coaches and players may be screened prior to arrival at the complex for signs/symptoms of COVID-19 prior to a training sessions or a competitive match.

STRUCTURE• Responses to screening questions may be

recorded and stored for contact tracing purposes if a COVID-19 infection occurs.

• Any person with positive responses on the screening will not be allowed to take part in training or matches and should contact their medical provider.

• The coach of the home team should provide a sanitized match ball for the competition.

• Players in the bench area should practice 6 feet social distancing.

• Coaches and trainers must clean all equipment used for training after each training session. Use of common training equipment should be minimized.

• Ankeney Soccer Complex members and visitors must follow the CDC 6 feet social distancing guidelines in order to be onsite. Please avoid close contact with those around you.

STEP 3 – AUGUST 3 – RETURN TO LOCAL COMPETITION

MATCHES

• BSA coaches will contact the BSA field scheduler for a specific date, time and field location for each match.

• Match field locations will be distributed across the complex in order to maximize social distancing between competitors.

• Match start times will be scheduled to avoid overlap departure and arrival of participating teams.

• Avoid general physical interaction including hugging, “high fives” or passing objects by hand.

• Spectators must maintain social distancing minimum of 6 feet on the match sidelines.

• Additional updates with be provided based on guidelines by the State of Ohio.

MATCHES

• No Congregating Policy for players or parents in parking lots, at drop off zones, at entrance / exit areas of facility, or before or after matches.

• Parents should assist in making sure their child sanitizes their ball and training equipment immediately after returning home from training.

• Establish designated drop off and pick up zones for each field, with younger players on fields closest to drop off point – so parents can watch from cars.

• Limit equipment brought to match, disinfecting all equipment before / after use.

• Do not allow players to share pennies, other equipment, or water bottles.

WHAT PLAYERS CAN DO TO HELP• Players/coaches must use hand sanitizer before, during

breaks, and after practice.

• Players with fevers or other symptoms are not permitted to practice.

• Players should sanitize their soccer ball prior to and after training.

• Players are not allowed to carpool to and from practice.

• Players should wear PPEs (masks) when not actively training; walking to and from the field.

• Players are encouraged (recommend) to wear gloves during the practice and be sure to wash them and your training clothes promptly after practice.

• No Congregating Policy for players or parents in parking lots, at drop off zones, at entrance / exit areas of facility, or before or after training session.

• Model the proper behavior (i.e. masks; social distancing; following CDC guidelines; etc.)

• Remind their child of the “Zero” tolerance non-contact policy (coach/player or player/player).

• No spectators allowed. Wait in the car or drop off/return at conclusion.

• Must maintain social distancing minimum of 6 feet when visiting the complex.

• Players with fevers or other symptoms are not permitted to practice.

• Insure your child use hand sanitizer before, during breaks, and after practice.

• Players are not allowed to carpool to and from practice.

• Players should wear PPEs (masks) when not actively training

• Require parents to confirm their child is symptom free before attending training.

• Report confirmed cases of COVID-19 to the Beavercreek Soccer Association immediately and cease trainings.

• Utilize virtual meetings for team communication with players and parents rather than meetings at the complex before or after training.

• Compliance with all local and state guidelines. Players/coaches must use hand sanitizer before, during breaks, and after practice.
