5 minObjective: the learners should understand about angles and identify the four kinds of angles by their properties. Warm up: check prior knowledge about angles, vertex.

Drawing the right angle, acute angle, obtuse angle and straight angle on board and discussion of their properties.

Right angle: an angle whose arms are 90 degrees apart is a right angle.

Acute angle: an angle which measures more than 0 degree but less than 90 degree is called an acute angle.

Obtuse Angle: an angle which measures more than 90 degree but less than 180 degree is called an obtuse angle.

Straight angle: an angle whose arms are 180 degrees apart is a straight angle.

Students will learn how to subtract how to subtract an angle from 180 in a straight line.C.W tx book page 117 (Q1) and 118 (Q2)Wrap: Wrap up: review of the class. Writing the important points on board. And dairy writing

Defining an angle and vertex.

Properties of angles and different kinds of angles

5 minObjective: students should understand the concept of 45, 90 135, 180,225,270,315,360 degrees angles. And clockwise and anticlockwise movement.Warm up: revise the different types of angle from previous class.

A chart paper will be taped to the board. The paper will contain a circle, which has 9 pointers from the center. Each pointer pointing at a different location in Dhaka. Student will be asked to move from one location to another using angle notation (for example move 225 degree clockwise from gulshan, what is the new location?).

Teacher will give a class work in a worksheet.Wrap up: review of the class. Writing the important points on board. And dairy writing

The concept of 45, 90 135, 180,225,270,315,360 degrees angles

Chart paper, protractor

Day 35 min

10 min15 min10 minObjective: students should understand the concept of E,W,N,S,NE,NW,SW,SE

Warm up: review of the previous class

A student will be asked to come in front and face east or the direction of sun rise. From there he will be asked to spread his hands. Teacher will than explain the direction of sun rise is east, opposite is west, left is north and right is south. Teacher will also explain by how much angle each direction differs.Teacher will give a class work in a worksheet.Wrap up: Wrap up: IE sheet will be given and discussed

the concept of E,W,N,S,NE,NW,SW,SE

Protractor, marker

Day 45 min

30 min

5 minWarm up: students will be asked about the four directions that they learn in the previous class.

Student will be taken to digi class for a visual description on angles.

Wrap up: students will be asked about different types of angles they learned and individual questions will be asked on the digi class

Day 55 min25 min

10 minWarm up: review on the angles (45, 90,135,180, 225, 270, 315, 360). Also students will remember the compass directions.Students will be asked to solve a worksheet.

Wrap up: discussion on the question from the worksheet.

Day 610 minutes25 minutes

5 minutesWarm up: Students will participate in a short quiz for 10 minutes

Students will do practice worksheetWrap up: Diary writing. Test tomorrow.Practice worksheet

Day 710 min

25 min

5 minObjective: assess the concept of angles

Warm up: review of the previous classes

Assessment: class test in given worksheet.

Wrap up: feedback will be taken on worksheet.CDU Worksheet

7. DifferentiationTo maintain them appropriate resource handling time will be given

Slow learners will be guided enough

If needed individual project work will be given to slow learners to reinforce learning
