PresentationA strong topic can help overcome a weak presentation. He gave a standard presentation that didn't stand out much from the norm but he did it on something that was interesting and that made a difference.

Ken Robinson VS. Frans de Waals

• Frans wasn't as charismatic a speaker as Ken Robinson though both of them are passionate about their topics. Ken gave a more powerful presentation because he added more personality to his speech. Even though he lacked much data to back up his statements he still seemed more credible because of his posture and attitude.

What I learned.

This was an interesting statement that really intrigued me. It reminded me how often I’ve seen people avoid success and improvement because of their fear of failure.

What I learnedFrans had some very interesting points and I realized that empathy and reciprocity is naturally engrained within us. I’m now more curious how people lose empathy for others as they age and how society and environment affect one’s empathy towards another.

Tips for my classmatesThe advice I have to my fellow classmates in their future presentations would be.

•Be passionate about whatever you speak about

•Believe in yourself

•Have a goal in mind

•Desire to share that knowledge with others.
