Introduction

In a bid to understand a current generation conducted a study, 2200 young men and women were contacted targeting the age group of 18-25 years across 13 cities. The study explores attitudes towards money among the youth. Respondents believe money facilitates happiness and makes good times possible.

Importance of Money For their hangouts, which include cafeterias,

canteen benches, food courts in malls and even hotel room.

To do their shopping, watching films, grooming, birthday treats etc.

Date with their boyfriend/girlfriend. To spend on holidays and celebrations. To pay phone bills and cigarettes
