Professional WORK DETAILS
The living office provides various zones and areas.
Its open structures and flexible uses of space
accommodate different types of work. Employees tend to
spend less time at their designated workstations and
more time working in teams, brainstorming and making
decisions. They interact in an infrastructure which
resembles an urban landscape- alternating between
communication and concentration.
Objective-To design Interiors of an office floor using “The Urban Neighborhood as a concept. The interior space
planning, colours, furniture, lights, wall treatments are planned according to the concept.
Requirements-•Workstations
•Meeting rooms
•Manager cabins
•Collaboration zones

Adaptable: Timeless design is open and
flexible. It deliberately organizes the
functional elements, like structural walls,
and allows for open pockets of spaces
that can be altered and changed over time
as needed.

FACT SHEET
AMADEUS– 2013 & 2014Special design feature/ Element: Amadeus’ approach towards
the look and feel of the office was simple, plain white and
minimal, which is seen in their offices globally. We decided to
spike this up and add color and graphics to represent the young
team of the office. The reception block is entirely white, to
make the space stand out the rest of the space is finished in
black. Around the workstations all columns are covered with
relevant graphics which lend color to the space. The graphics are
images of their existing employees.

Project cost per SFT INR 1800/- per sft.

Design explore create develop art forms
This studio helped us to get more familiar with the
issues of dwelling.
We were required to design a residence for a specific
person. I designed a residence for Mr.Amitabh Bachhan
in a pol house in the Gangadhiya ni pol, old city of
Ahmedabad. I started with analyzing the character and
understanding his daily schedule, which helped me
shape the design concept and arrive at an appropriate
layout.

Adaptive Reuse of Reis Magos Fort, GoaMany heritage buildings in India are
in a deteriorating condition. This
loss is not only related to their poor
physical condition, but also due to
the absence of life from these
buildings. As a part of our studio,
we took up one such challenge
where we addressed the situation
of Fort Reis Magos, which had
recently undergone conservation a
nd restoration. Though the fort was
restored, it had not been
rejuvenated as a building due to the
lack of life in it. Hence, to add a
permanent state of activity and
use to the building, I introduced the
program of a music school, which
could not only give life to the
building but also offer the timeless
element of music to add onto its
existing heritage.
The Fort was divided into two sections
namely the bastion and the citadel,
each of which housed a masters
program: Masters in Songwriting and
Composition and Masters in
Contemporary Performance.
Although both these programs are
housed in two different sections,
they share common areas, which
lead to a constant and passive state
of flux where students utilize multiple
areas during their course of Education

To address the idea of public realm in the fort, an
amphitheater is introduced in the citadel and an
open-to-all coffee shop is accommodated in the bastion.
The stark disconnect between the two zones is bridged
by the addition of the lighthouse elevator shaft, which
also houses a viewing gallery for the complex.

Rajmahal School, Jodhpur City
Historic city centers in India are dynamic and
vibrant environments of cultural heritage that go
beyond the built form. This course, offered with
the department of Architecture at University of
Ferrara, Italy, was an effort to bring to the
students an interdisciplinary competence of
analysis, leading to design proposals of how to
negotiate the new within the old, private realm.
In 1788, The Gulab Sagar Lake was constructed
under the rule of Rathore King Vijay Singh.
The Rajmahal Garden Palace was constructed
in the early 19th century as the residence of
his queen. At present and since 1915,
Rajmahal Senior Secondary Girls School has
been functioning in the complex. Lessons are
conducted in the temple complex and girls play
in the area in the break time. The haveli
functions as a school and its library houses a
collection of 25000 books and journals on
history, art and literature.

Visualization & re-presentation
In this course we focused on drawing as a primary
medium of visualization and representation. There were two
parts – one concentrated on technical modes of drawings
while the other on non-technical modes. We explored non-
technical modes of drawings such as free-hand sketching,
collage reliefs, pop-up,etc. to build a visual vocabulary.
The workshop emphasized on
architectural and geometrical origami
and the study of different types of
polyhedra: Platonic or Archimedean
solids like tetrahedrons,
dodecahedrons, octahedrons,
icosahedrons, anti-prisms, di-pyramids
and certain complex carbon atom
structures and bucky balls.
Studio project-5
Geometrical Modular Origami
This workshop course introduced us to basic understanding of forms and
appropriate material for giving shape to that form. Various materials like metal,
wood, fabric, rope, resin, clay were introduced and students developed three-
dimensional forms using the best suitable material for it. The workshop started with
a thought and ended with a three-dimensional form of the thought

Tribal art : Exploring art forms
This course took us on a journey into traditional arts and crafts of India. It helped
us develop interest and skills in the field of tribal art-craft work of different regions
of India. We gained experience of working with different types of papers, clothes
and several objects such as ceramic pots and plates, lamps, paper-cloth bags,
used as medium for creative expression in the course.
Three different tribal arts from various regions of India were explored:
Warli Painting,Warli region,Maharashtra
Madhubani (or Mithila) painting, Bihar region
Mud and Mirror work, Kutch region, Gujarat
