“The mission of HCPS in constructing the new Brookland Area Elementary School is to build a bright and

beautifully designed building where students are the center. This will be a state of the art facility with flexible,

open spaces designed for student collaboration. This school will allow students to innovate through STEAM

and acquire 21st century skills, all while feeling safe and a part of a larger community. In the end, the result of

this project will provide a school that is a complement of Holladay Elementary where students become life-long

learners.”

Site• One bus loop • One school entrance from bus loop or entrance to each school• Service off bus loop• May not need to connect bus loop to Galaxie Road

Building• One reception/waiting area with shared space• Pod approach preferred• Library and gym• Learning stair to be included
