BRIDGEWAY MOODLE SITE

All online testing is contained in a Moodle Learning Management System

Within the Moodle LMS courses have been created for all Bridgeway courses 5th grade and up.

ORGANIZATION OF THE MOODLE LMS

Each publisher has its own category.

There are sub-categories for some publishers with a large number of courses such as ACE and AOP

SELF-REGISTRATION

Students self-register for courses using the keys you send them in a template email.

This key is a combination of your advisor number and the course code from the Master Curriculum List.

The purpose of the self-enrollment key is to allow students to enroll them selves and to allow advisors to view only their own students when retrieving grades

SELF-ENROLLMENT KEY

In this example – to enroll in Ace Social Studies for Advisor Darlene – the family would be sent the key 20-30101S

RETRIEVING GRADES

Navigate to www.bridgewaytests.com and enter your username and password.

RETRIEVING GRADES

Navigate to the course for which you want to retrieve grades. You can select the course from the panel on the right side or use the courses drop down to select the category and then the course.

NOTE: Once you are in one course that the student is enrolled in, you will be able to retrieve grades for all courses the student is enrolled in.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN TO RETRIEVE GRADES?

Since we are not waiting for student’s to return materials to us, you will need to check and record student’s grades at the end of each semester.

At the end of the student’s enrollment period, you will need to check for submitted grades and work with the student to request an extension if necessary if all tests have not been completed

THE MARKING BLOCK

The Marking Block can be added to your home page by clicking customize and then selecting the marking block.

THE MARKING BLOCK

The Marking Block shows all essay questions that need to be manually graded through out the site.

Click the + sign next to a course to display assignments and continue to click the + sign until student names are displayed. If you see your student, click on their name to bring up the marking screen.

After an assignment is graded it is removed from the Marking Block
