• Research of existing horror film titles:

While researching I found out that a lot of horror film typography have a recurring feature, which is the colours used, most of the films either use red, white or black or just use 2 of the colours.

The typography is usually blocky and sharp which reinforces the genre of the film. Some of the typography also look very similar like child's play and Halloween., this is so that the audience can be able to identify the genre.

These are the film poster typography we created for our film. As you can see they contain the colour scheme associated with the horror slasher genre. The designs are influenced by well known horror film, this is so that the audience would be able to understand the genre of the film.

I have also research into different studios and production company logos, this so that we can gain inspiration for our own film production. The logos all stand out and are easily identifiable by the audience.

These are the designs for our film production company, the designs and name of the production contains intertextuality references which is linked to our film.
