Presentation Outline

• Project Goals• ITE HVAC schematic• TEAMS• Previous Model• Updated Model• What our code will do• Limitations• Project Timeline• Project Budget• Next steps

Project Goals

• Previous Senior Design Project–Developed Partial Diagnostic Model of the ITEB HVAC

System

• Develop C++ program extract and analyze real-time data from the building sensors

• Combine model and code to detect for faults in real-time.

TEAMS

• Designero Model that maps failures

• RDSo Remote Diagnostic Servero RT

Procedure

Code

• Data Sensor values stored into text file

• Run data through C++ coding to determine if failure occurs

• TEAMS-RT combines code with model to generate where failures occur and best possible solution

Project Limitations

• HVAC is a complicated Mechanical systemo Many possible failures could occuro Difficult to model every minor failure

• Cost and Time of each failure

• Sensor values are on protected servero Need to obtain access

Next Steps

• Obtain Real-Time Data from Sensorso Working with Professor Laurent Michel &

Professor Peter Luho Biggest Limitation

• Begin & implement code development• Associate weighted time and cost of testing

each component• Test and Debug completed project
