Volume of Sperm

• نسان من ب ف نطفة خلق الإ ين إذا هو خصيم م

( He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer!)16:4

• ني ي نطفةألمإ يك ن م م ن مإ

Was he not a drop of sperm emitted (in lowly form)? 75:37

• فة ثم جعلإناه ين في قر نطإ ار م

Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed; 23:13

Contents of Sperm

• نسان من ن فة إنا خلقإنا الإ بإتليه ن أمشاج طإافجعلإناه سميع ا بصير

Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight.(76:2)

• له من هين ة سلل ثم جعل نسإ اء م ن م م

And made his progeny from a quintessence of the nature of a fluid despised:(32:8)

Implantation of Fertilized Egg

• حام ونقر في ا رإ أجل ما ن لإ شاء إلرجمإ ثم نخإ سم طفإل م

(We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babies),22;5

Stages of Embryo

• فة عل غة قة فخلقإنا الإعل ثم خلقإنا النطإ قة مضإغة عظام نا الإعظام فخلقإنا الإمضإ سوإ ا فا ثم أنشأإناه خلإق م لحإ ا آخر فتبارك الل

سن الإخالقين أحإ

Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create! (23:14)
