BRAND ADVERTISING…..Brand Advertising refers to promotional technique where product is not promoted but brands are promoted

LOCAL ADVERTISING….. Advertising that is done on a local basis to a local merchant or business, opposed to regional or national advertising.

DIRECT RESPONSE ADVERTISING….Promotional method in which a customer is to respond immediately and directly to the advertiser, through the use of a 'device' provided in the advertisement.

Examples: Toll-free telephone number ,or on the internet. Hotspot to click.

DIRECTORY ADVERTISING…..Advertising  that appears in a specific type of directory . A popular example of directory advertising is those companies that place ads in the Yellow Pages directory.

POLITICAL ADVERTISING…. In politics, campaign advertising is the use of an advertising campaign through the media to influence political debate, and ultimately, voters.

These ads are designed by political consultants and political campaign staff.

INSTITUTIONAL ADVERTISING…. Institutional advertising is to build a positive image and to generate goodwill about a particular industry, rather than to promote sales.

RETAIL ADVERTISING….Retail Advertising refers to advertising for the retail business, in connection of the private business of branches. The best examples are department stores

and supermarkets.

BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS ADVERTISING…Marketing efforts directed toward other businesses rather to individual consumers. Business-to-business advertising may involve the promotion of products

such as copier machines, or services such as human resources consulting or logistics, that are primarily designed for businesses.

PUBLIC SERVICE ADVERTISING… Public Service Advertisements are primarily designed to inform and educate rather than sell a product or service. The goal of a PSA is not to make a big sale, but rather to change public opinion and raise awareness for a problem. However, sometimes money is solicited, although usually not for profit.

INTERACTIVE ADVERTISING…Interactive Advertising refers to promotional techniques that include anelement of feedback from those to whom the advertisements are directed. This feedback gives the advertiser analytical data that can be used to improve the advertising methods being employed.
