about Hadrian’s Wall. We went last weekend to the
majestic and dramatic walls in Northumberland. We hope you
enjoy watching this presentation and learn some new facts about
Hadrian’s Wall.
Vindolanda
Vindolanda is a majestic and high roman fort that has been saved from the nasty roman times in 121Ad. Today this site contains the
most majestic and high roman site in Northumberland. The site has a lot of Roman
features that lived from 121 Ad.
Howstead
Howstead is a Roman fort that people can walk alongside. It is 37m long and it very high above the Northumberland hills and grass land. The Romans would loved this site!.
Roman Army MuseumThe Roman Army Museum is the most
popular museum at Hadrian’s Wall. This museum tells the story of what it
used to be like in a Roman time. Today the museum is open to the
public where they can see the majestic Roman tablets and shells in the
museum.
River South Tyne
The River South Tyne is the most amazing river in Cumbria. It flows near Hadrian’s Wall to Alston. Today this river would have been
where the Romans would have road done and drunk from.
