Every year there are predictable occasionsThese occur each year

like the cycle of the seasons

You can count on thisas a brand new seminary studentas a graduate of long ago

Most seminary graduates will serve in a local church in the USA.Some will become missionaries in other countries.For missionaries a few of these factors will not be the same.But their blog and podcast will reach back to Americans who pray and donate.

The concept of a preaching calendar is a way for a pastor to plan in advance.

This planning can be for one year or more.

I would suggest thinking ahead five years.

On this blog are more than enough sparks to fill a preaching calendar for ten years.

It would be smart to have a firm idea about the coming 12 months and a sketch beyond.

These days most church members are online during the week.

In the future the trend is that more people will be online longer.

That is what the younger generation is doing and they will grow up.

Your opportunities to minister to the members of a church have expanded.

Most churches record the Sunday sermon.

I suggest that you can record many messages that are only online.
