R10 SB Revamping Project
The IEEE R10 Revamping SBs Project strives to engage, support and reach out to dormant/inactive Student Branches, in an attempt to reactivate them. This is done primarily via 3 distinct, yet interconnected ways:
- Mentors Forum Team: Through our team, we personally engage the Section SAC, Student Branches and their respective leadership, to directly support, motivate and aid their volunteers and initiatives. [Contact: mahesh.rb.in@ieee.org]

Mentors Team
- Mentors: The true champions of this program; our Mentors augment the valuable contributions of a Counselor and play the role of an exemplary paragon to the Student Branch. Join now at ieee.fluidsurveys.com/surveys/R0/r10-sac-call-for-mentors/

Goals
A Branch Mentor is a Section member who may or may not associated with the University who is appointed by the local Section, in consultation with the Student Branch members, to be a mentor to a small set IEEE Student Branches.
He or she will provide guidance, serve as a liaison between the Student members and Section Executive, and encourage new graduates to stay active in the IEEE.
A recent graduate who has some firsthand experience in Student Branch operations and Section activities is an ideal candidate for a Branch Mentor.
should encourage the student member’s participation in IEEE events as well as all competitions.

IMPACT OF THE PROJECT
This greatest impact of this project would be on the student members and volunteers of the student branch on which mentor would be investing his energies.
students would not only learn and groom themselves, but would also come to know how things move on basic and grass root level and how to avail different opportunities.

Who Can be a Mentor
Any volunteer and IEEE member that graduates above the level of student membership can be a mentor under this project.
This can include members who recently graduate and move into the Young Professionals, or those members who possess professional memberships of the sort.
