Setting Up Personal Videoconferencing

1. Download and install the software– tm.otn.ca

2. Configure the software– Identify devices and select options

3. Self-test your system– Launch a call to one of OTN’s test systems

to check audio and video quality

Download and Install SoftwareStep #1

1. Log in at tm.otn.ca with the credentialsfrom your OTN Portal application– User name is email address you provided

2. Click download link

The installation begins. Follow the on-screen prompts.

To complete the install, click Finish in the final setup dialog box.

To manually open configuration window1. Right-click program icon ( ) in system tray

Devices tab: Select your “headset” device (for speaker and microphone)

Options tab: Select…– Start VidyoDesktop on login

– Play a tone when participants join/leave

– Always Display Toolbar

– Show Participant Names

If using a portable computer, set the power plan to “High Performance” to experience better quality video

Go to Search Systems page

1.Search for OTN test systems (available 24/7)– Type TOR_OTN_PCVC in search field

2.Find a test system in Search Results list

3.Click Connect

4.Complete Call Detail fields & click Connect
