When a person writes an autoiography or memoir, they want it to sound like they do in real conversation.

A writer's style is the distinctive way he or she uses language.

Style can be created through the following things...

An author who writes about his or her life may have multiple purposes for writing. Some of these reasons

include:

to inform the reader about his or her life

to share thoughts / feelingsto entertain the reader with a good story

Read the following sentence. Which author's purpose does it reflect?

Now write an example that you make up, still keeping the same topic that reflect the other two types of author's purpose.
