Because fundraising is FUN!

Our Mission is to cure leukemia,

lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma

& to improve the quality of life for patients.

Each year, in communities across Canada, teams of families, friends, co-workers and local and national corporations come together to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada's (LLSC's)

Funds raised support the work of the country's best and brightest researchers in their search for better therapies and cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma as well as patient support programs.

Have fun while supporting a great cause by using our top FUNdraising tips.

With so many friends on vacation, someone needs to

look after their pets! Offer to pet-sit for donations.

Fundraising Tip #1:

Make Fridays “Casual Day” at the

office.

Employees have to donate $2 for every

Friday they participate.

Fundraising Tip #2:

Sell your homemade chili or

delicious baked goods once a week,

during the lunch break, at work or at

school. You may be

surprised at how much you raise!

Have a garage sale. Gather stuff that’s

been hanging around the house, put it in your front yard and sell, sell,

sell! Put all the money raised toward

your fundraising!

Fundraising Tip #4:

Car Wash for Cancer – Host a car wash. Ask a local

gas station to donate the cleaning

products, put up balloons and signs,

and wash away!

Fundraising Tip #5:

Host a used book sale. Ask for old book donations

from your friends, family and co-

workers then price them accordingly.

Fundraising Tip #6:

Host a BBQ – host a BBQ at your

home, or the beach, and invite your

friends in return for a donation.

Fundraising Tip #7:

Hold a bottle drive and collect

bottles/cans from your neighbourhood

and return them a refund.
