Cutting Instructions:• 18 1 1/2” squares of the Lipstick fabric• 16 1 1/2” squares of the Gold fabric• 10 1 1/2” squares of the Luna fabric• 10 1 1/2” squares of the Plum fabric*Seam allowance is a 1/4”

Instructions:For the churn:• Place two squares (one Lipstick and one Gold)

right sides together using a grid ruler and a fabric marker. Draw a line from the upper left corner to the bottom right corner. Stitch directly on this line using a rotary cutter and acrylic ruler, trim 1/4” away from the seam allowance and then press the seam towards the Gold fabric. Repeat for three of the remaining Lipstick and Gold squares. (A)

• Using the photo as a layout guide, stitch the squares into rows and the rows into the mini Churn Dash. Repeat to make a second Churn Dash. Set these aside while you make the second part of the block.

For the checker:• Make 2 checkerboard blocks• Refer to the photo as a layout guide to stitch

the Luna and Plum squares into rows and then the rows into a mini checkerboard block. Repeat for the second mini checkerboard block.

• Using the photo as a layout guide, stitch the mini blocks together to create the completed 6 1/2” x 6 1/2” Checker Churn.
