WHAT IS INTERNATIONAL RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) ?

• International RYLA is a global leadership event focused on developing the next generation of leaders

• Connects young leaders with Rotarian teachers, mentors, and facilitators from around the world.

MISSION STATEMENT OF 2014 iRYLA “pilot program” IN SYDNEY

Objective• To help iRYLArians learn that Rotary spirit

is in service & fellowship in action.• iRYLArians are expected to be “ Rotary

Global ambassadors”• iRYLA participants will become better

leaders within their communities• iRYLArians become more involved in

Rotary

WHO CAN APPLY TO iRYLA?

Young leaders (aged 19 to 30) committed to their local communities *Experience of District RYLA not required*Young Rotarians may also apply*Must be sponsored by local Rotary District*Rotary Affiliation is not required to attend

Main Target Groups:• Rotary New Generation program alumni and young Rotarians• Foundation Alumni (Ambassadorial Scholars, GSE, Peace Scholars)
