harmoni 50isanelectronicprogrammabletimerthermostat usedforcontrollingelectricalunderfloorheatingelements.
Thethermostatisdesignedforfixedinstallationonly.Itcanbeusedforbothdirectheatingoftheentireroomandforcomfortheatingofthefloor.Listedbelowaresomeofthethermostat’smainfeatures:

Please also note the following:
h Theinstallationofthethermostatmustbedonebyanauthorisedandqualifiedinstalleraccordingtolocalregulations.
h Thethermostatmustbeconnectedtoapowersupplyviaanall-poledisconnectionswitch.
h Alwaysconnectthethermostattocontinuouspowersupply.
h Donotexposethethermostattomoisture,water,dustandexcessiveheat.

Placethethermostatatasuitableheightonthewall(typically80–170cmfromthefloor).
Thethermostatshouldnotbeplacedinwetrooms,placeitinanadjacentroominstead.Wheninstallingthethermostatoutsidetheroomitshouldbein‘floorsensoronly’mode.AlwaysplacethethermostataccordingtolocalregulationsonIPclasses.
Donotplacethethermostatontheinnersideofanexteriorwall.
Alwaysinstallthethermostatatleast50cmfromwindowsanddoors.

Donotplacethethermostatinaplacethatisexposedtodirectsunlight.
Important: Afloorsensorenablesamoreaccuratetemperaturecontrolandisrecommendedinallfloorheatingapplicationsandiscompulsoryunderwoodenfloorstoreducetheriskofoverheatingthefloor.
h Placethefloorsensorinaconduitinanappropriateplacewhereitisnotexposedtosunlightordraftfromdooropenings.
h Equallydistantand>2cmfromtwoheatingcables.
h Theconduitshouldbeflushwiththefloorsurface;countersinktheconduitifnecessary.
h Routetheconduittotheconnectionbox.
h Thebendingradiusoftheconduitmustbeaminimumof50mm.

Follow the steps below to mount the thermostat.
1.Openthethermostat.
Important:DoNOTpressonthedisplayscreen whenremovingthefrontpart.
Pressyourfingersunderthesideofthefrontpart andgentlypullitaway.
2.Connectthethermostat accordingtothe connectiondiagram.
Thescreenoftheheating cablemustbeconnected totheearthconductorof thepowersupplycableby usingaseparateconnector.

h Fixthethermostattoasocketoranexteriorwallboxusingthescrewholesineachsideofthethermostat.
h Reattachtheframe.
h Clickthedisplaymodulebackinplace.
Important: DoNOTpressonthedisplay screenwhenclickingthedisplaymoduleback in place.
Initially,fullychargethethermostatbatteryusingthemainssupplyfor15hours.Thecurrenttimeanddayisthenkeptfor24hoursifmainssupplyisswitchedoff.Allothersettingsarestoredpermanently.

When Forecastisturnedon,heatingwillstartearliersotherequiredtemperatureisreachedatthespecifiedtime.
Forexample,ifyourcomforttemperatureissetto22°C andthetimerissetto6am,thetemperaturewillbe22°Cat6am.However,ifForecastisswitchedoff,heating won’tstartuntil6amandwilltakeawhiletoreach22°C.
The Forecastfeaturealsooptimisesheatingstopwhenswitchingfromcomforttoeconomytemperature.
