General ApplicationsThe size, efficiency and operatingeconomy of the GP 2010 make it yourbest choice for single dwellings,waterfront property, subdivisiondevelopments and marinas. The GP2010 is ideally suited for both newand existing communities.

General FeaturesThe GP 2010 Grinder Pump is acomplete unit that includes: thegrinder pump, check valve, HDPE(high density polyethylene) tank andcontrols. The GP 2010 is packagedinto a single complete unit, ready forinstallation.

All solids are ground into fine par-ticles, allowing them to pass easilythrough the pump, check valve andsmall diameter pipelines. Evenobjects not normally found in sewage,such as plastic, rubber, fiber, wood,etc., are ground into fine particles.

The 1 1/4-inch discharge connectionis adaptable to any piping materials,thereby allowing us to meet your localcode requirements.

The tank is made of tough corrosion-resistant HDPE. The optimum tankcapacity of 70 gallons is based oncomputer studies of water usagepatterns. A single GP 2010 is ideal forone, average single-family home andcan also be used for up to two averagesingle-family homes where codes allowand with consent of the factory. Thismodel can accommodate flows of 700GPD.

The internal check valve assembly,located in the grinder pump, iscustom-designed for non-clog, trouble-free operation.

The grinder pump is automaticallyactivated and runs infrequently for veryshort periods. The annual energyconsumption is typically that of a 40-watt light bulb.

Units are available for indoor andoutdoor installations. Outdoor unitsare designed to accommodate a widerange of burial depths.

Overload CapacityThe maximum pressure that thepump can generate is limited by themotor characteristics. The motorgenerates a pressure well below therating of the piping and appurte-nances. The automatic reset featuredoes not require manual operationfollowing overload.
