Was there a variety of assessment methods used by the teacher? How relevant was/were the assessment methods used? Explain.

Yes, there are variety of assessment methods used by the 3 teachers we’ve observed. The first teacher used a extended written response assessment. She assess her students using a written answer to a given questions. The second teacher used performance-based assessment. She assess her students by observing and judging their demonstrations. The third teacher used selected response assessment. She assess her students by giving them multiple-choice questionnaire. As what we’ve observed the kinds of methods they’ve used are really relevant because it makes the students listen and participate to their lessons.

Do you think the expected students’ learning behaviors indicated in the objectives were properly and appropriately assessed through those assessment methods? Explain.

Yes, students’ learning behaviors indicated in the objectives were properly and appropriately assessed through those assessment methods because those methods does not just assessing the knowledge gained by the students but it is also assessing on how the students critically think. Their talents and skills are also assessed by those methods used by the teachers.
