Note: Read assembly directions before cutting patches. Borders are cut to exact length required plus ¼” seam allowance. WOF designates the width of fabric from selvedge to selvedge (approximately 42” wide).

Fabric A Cut (5) 3 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (157) 1 ¼” x 3 ½” strips.

Fabric B Cut (6) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

Fabric C to Fabric N Cut (16) 3 ½” x 5 ½” strips from each Fat Quarter for a total of (172) strips.

Backing Cut (2) 53” x WOF pieces. Sew the pieces together and trim to make (1) 53” x 70” backing.

Quilt Top AssemblySew the columns together, alternating the columns and offsetting the Column Two strips as shown in Diagram 1.

Column AssemblySew (11) assorted 3 ½” x 5 ½” strips and (10) 1 ¼” x 3 ½” Fabric A strips together, alternating them, to make (1) Column One. Repeat to make (8) Column Ones total.

Sew (12) assorted 3 ½’ x 5 ½” strips and (11) 1 ¼” x 3 ½” Fabric A strips together, alternating them, to make (1) Column Two. Repeat to make (7) Column Twos total.

Finishing the QuiltLayer and quilt as desired.

Sew the (6) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric B strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

Bind as desired.

Trim the Column Two strips even with the Column One strips to make the quilt top (Diagram 2).
