What is Social Networking?

• Social Networking is the grouping of individuals into specific groups, like small rural communities or a neighbourhood subdivision, where it is possible to meet other people and gather and share first-hand information and experiences.

• Facebook– Over 500 million active users worldwide.

• Twitter– 175 million users worldwide
