The S.S. JAMES LYKES was the first ocean-going vessel refueled last month from the new Gulf Oilmarine bunkering facility on the Houston Ship Channel. The new Gulf terminal, adjacent to the com-pany’s exlstln~ marketing and LPG terminals, has storage capacity for 155,000 barrels of bunker "c"and 64,500 barreFs of heavy diesel fuels. Special blending equipment permits formulation of a widerange of marine fuels. Gulf’s marine bunkering service serves vessels at more than 150 ports in theU.S. and overseas.

ATLANTIC BREEZE for shipment to the Gulfof Suez where they will be part of a $20 millionproject to build a harbor with storage and tankerloading facilities, pipelines, an operations base,and crude oil processing equipment near the townof Rasgharab. The project is a joint venture be-tween Pan American Petroleum Corporation andthe Egyptian Petroleum Corporation. The pressurevessels were part of approximately 460 tons ofequipment manufactured by Brown and Root, Inc.Star Forwarders, Inc. handled forwarding on thetotal shipment of some 3,000 tons. Biehl andCompany were ship’s agents.
