“Learn How To Play Chess.”

Chess is a millenary game. Nobody knows for sure when
or where chess was invented. Most experts believe that
chess was invented over 2,000 years ago in India.
In fact, the current World Chess Champion GM
Viswanathan Anand was born in India.

The Pawn
The Pawn moves only forward, never backwards or sideways.
The Pawn can move one or two squares on it’s first move. Afterwards, only one square

When the pawn reaches the last rank (8th) (Pawn Promotion)the Pawn turns into a new
piece: Queen or Rook, Bishop or Knight. The Pawn captures diagonally one square
away
(look at the X marks.)
