Why to go ecoDon’t be a litter bug

intro Hi my name is Peony and you might

have seen my first power point on electric cars - if you haven’t you can look at it later

But to get to the point, I am Peony, I am nine, I live in Herne Bay and I want to make the world a better place

Why is litter bad? It can harm other

animals like turtles who eat jelly fish and could easily mistake a plastic bag for their lunch.

Having rubbish all over the ground is gross

Why do people litter They are lazy They don’t care what it looks like They don’t know how much harm it can

cause

You can help by:1. Not dropping litter on the ground2. Asking for more recycling bins in your

neighbourhood3. If you see someone littering, ask them

to stop4. If you have a picnic, check you don’t

leave any empty crisp packets 5. Just know this - that even if you only do

a small bit, it all helps
