Do you have an energetic performer in your household? Perhaps an aspiring choreographer or a video camera enthusiast? This program brings together a fun team that will work in unison performing with exciting ‘music videos’. In this camp your child will immerse themselves in music interpretation, creating a story line, developing movement and/or dance routines for their favorite music videos.
First, campers start their project with writing the ‘story line’ of that day’s music video. Next, they decide on the ‘set’. Finally they are ready for choreographing and rehearing the music video. Several music videos will be created over the course of the week. For camera enthusiasts, they will be planning, setting up/blocking and capturing many cool shots. Campers can take turns in front or behind the camera. This fun cast and crew team will promise a fun-packed day while learning new skills in team building, management and artistic creation.

MEDIEVAL MAYHEM (AGES 8-12)In medieval times, there were a huge number of engineering innovations. Crossbows, drawbridges, towers, cranes, the compass, and more were invented during those times. The lands then were ruled by feudal courts in a castle, with each castle having a great deal of land around it that was ruled by the lords and ladies of the castle. Because owning land meant more power, many lords and ladies went to battle with other lords and ladies, trying to take their castle and control their land. This led to many incredible devices being engineered, such as catapults. Students will be split into groups forming their own feudal court of lords and ladies. They will try to beat out the other teams in carious challenges to show their prowess and be crowned kings and queens of the land with the engineering for Kids Crown.

Northampton Township was originally settled by English colonists who came with William Penn on his voyage to Pennsylvania.
They named it Northampton after the town of Northamptonshire, England. Northampton Township was incorporated on December 14, 1722. Planning has begun to celebrate the 300th Anniversary.
A community festival, historical tours and lectures, sports and recreation and special events will collectively honor Northampton
Township’s heritage and build a stronger community. A slogan is needed to help highlight the tricentennial celebrations and
activities planned and will be used in the publicity and on commemorative items. Questions? Contact Eileen Silver,

Are you new to Yoga? This class is a beginner yoga class. This calming stress-relieving yoga class teaches you how to stretch and strengthen the body gradually. Emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body. Poses are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. Recommended for those newer to yoga or working with special concerns. Perfect for the student looking for a gentle experience or those who need a change of pace. Various props will be used for a safe practice and class will end in deep relaxation. Those with medical conditions, please check with your physician if you have any concerns about attending yoga. Please bring a mat, yoga block and water. You may also bring a towel or blanket to assist your practice.
Ready to take your Yoga game to the next level? Move beyond Level I! Level II is perfect for beginners or experienced practitioners who would like to slow down their practice and get back to basics. Participants will practice transitioning from the floor to standing in a slow, practiced flow. Standing, balance, and seated posture variations will be introduced with modifications offered. An emphasis is placed on fostering awareness of the mind-body connections. Class will end in deep relaxation, leaving you calm and energized. Bring a mat, towel, and water.
The warm weather means it is time to lay down your Yoga mats outside in the fresh air! Join us at the Municipal Park to practice gentle vinyasa yoga flow for all fitness levels. Vinyasa Yoga will give you energy and help you focus throughout your day. Gain strength and flexibility in your muscles while having a strong mind-body connection. Each class will combine balanced series of poses with a focus on opening up one of several potential areas of tightness, such as your hamstrings, hips, shoulders, or neck. A selection of restorative poses will support your body with props, so the muscles, fascia and nervous system get to take a break from the daily grind. Reap all the benefits while breathing in the fresh air! Yoga Mat and Two Yoga blocks required for this class.

The moves are low impact, but will have intensity intervals of strength training followed immediately by deep recovery stretching. This regimented routine will evenly sculpt and quickly transform the entire body, resulting in a toned, trim physique. Classes begin with a warm up focusing on postural strength and alignment, followed by upper body exercises. A waist high sturdy surface will be used for flexible training, and to sculpt the lower body and abs. Class ends with core work and stretching. Many of the stretches and strengthening exercises are endorsed by sports medicine physicians and orthopedists. Yoga Mat, pilates ball and two light dumbbells required.

SPOTTED LANTERNFLY—SEE IT? STOMP IT!Adult spotted lanternflys are abundant in the area. If you see them stomp them.
During the late summer, these adult lanternflys mate and lay eggs. While adults do not
survive the winter, the same does not hold true for their egg masses. Check for egg
masses on trees, cement blocks, rocks and other hard surfaces. If you find egg masses,
scrape them off using a plastic card or putty knife and then place the masses into a
bag or container filled with rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer. This is the most effective
way to kill the eggs but they can also be smashed or burned. For more information

Thank you to our Friend and Dedicated Community Member Joe Saracino has been a community ambassador for Northampton Township over the decades. Though you may identify his name with State Farm Insurance, he is so much more than a picture on a company logo. Joe has embraced the community where he has worked since 1975, contributing to so many causes, charities and organizations that it is hard to name them all. As a longtime Northampton Township resident, Joe has always been committed to helping Northampton Parks and Recreation, the Senior Center, Library, Police Department, Fire Company. and Northampton Days. Whenever there was a need for support, he was always willing to give, be it with sponsorship,
advertising, ideas, or his own time. Joe has been an upstanding member of the Northampton Township Business & Professional Association, a St. Mary Medical Center volunteer, member of the Marine Corp League of Richboro, an avid golfer at the Northampton Valley CC. To paraphrase the State Farm tagline, “Like a Good Neighbor, Joe Saracino has always been there.” Thank you, Joe, for your dedication to Northampton Township and best wishes on your upcoming retirement!
