vast scope in future for IT student in digital marketing
as percentage of digital marketing user increases.
Nowadays in modern digital world it is in demand to
make the effective and attractive website for digital
marketing. IT student can use their technical as well as
management skill here. In that perspective they should
think while designing and making website.

I. Introduction
Day by day our world becomes digitalized as it is essential for
us for improvement of our industries and society.Everywhere
we used technology and technology also becomes advanced
day by day. SO there is tremendous growth in the IT sector for
career to the students. There are various categories in which IT
students can get jobusing their caliber and knowledge.Some of
them are:

Digital marketing is the platform where we can establish or
promote ourproducts brand and services.More and more
companies want to promote their product or services through
digital marketing. And if we see in 10 years the drastic growth
is happened in digital marketing at the same time the no of
users also increased who accepts this digital changes using
various apps or site for getting/using service.
The statistical data says that there is vast growth in digital
marketing every year.So there are the doors open for IT student
in digital marketing field.
There are various types through which digital marketing can
do. Some are Search Engine Marketing & PPC,Search Engine
Optimization (SEO),Social Media Marketing (SMM),Email
Marketing,and Content Marketing.Now a day’s most of the
apps or sites providealso the pay online facility Like
Googleapp.As an IT student, they have very much scope for
making effective website. In modern life style people also used
various digital devices.They don’t want to go physically in
shop and purchase the thing. They are interested to do each and
everything through digital media. Internet is the key media
used in digital marketing.Many Indian companies are using
digital marketing for competitive advantage

In 2013 India spent 5.56 billion on media advertise. , 0.57
billion on digital advertise and 0.03 on mobile
internet.And in 2019India spent 8.53 billion (850 Cr.) on
media advertise. , 2.17 billion (217 Cr) on digital
advertiset and 1.23 billion (123 Cr) on mobile internet [3].

From above figures every year the number of users and
amount spend on digital media are increased very
rapidly.So companies are also use to change their
marketing strategy from traditional marketing to digital
marketing. And for this switch they expend much more on
digital marketing.

IV. Conclusion: In every era, marketing has evolved based on customer’s
requirement. Every time the marketing media change very
rapidly. At the starting newspapers, radio, Televisions was
used for marketing. Since the boom of the global
networking started the age of digital Marketing. The rapid
change of marketing strategy in digital marketing and vast
use of digital technology in it, there will a huge scope of
IT student for their job perspective.
