Our beginnings Founded in 1958 by Douglas Gordon Pirrie, D&G began its journey in a flat just off Sloane Square. From these spirited beginnings, we’ve grown to employ more than 200 people – providing a quality, high-touch property service across London.

Unlike many others, D&G remains privately and family owned. And as a result, we’re able to maintain the values of trust, professionalism and integrity, which have served our clients well over the last 60 years.

As a full-service agency working in London’s fast-paced market, we’re able to provide our customers with: residential sales & lettings, property management, home management and corporate services; residential developments, professional valuations, refurbishment & interior design services and block management.

We also offer a Research, Asset and Fund Management Division, D&G Asset Management LLP, which can advise direct property investors – and owns an Offshore Fund management business for indirect investors..

Our networkD&G work across central, west, south-west, and more recently north-west

London. We have over sixty years worth of experience in the market and an

extensive London-based network.

Residential SalesAs one of London’s few remaining independent estate agencies, D&G offers a

personal, high-touch service to sellers and buyers alike.

By combining the latest insights and data from D&G Asset Management with an

in-depth understanding of London property, our experienced Residential Sales

Teams will help you achieve the most competitive price for your property.

For added peace of mind, all our Sales Teams are NFOPP-qualified, and our

transactions are regulated by the Property Ombudsman.

Residential Lettings Our Lettings Department has been providing a comprehensive lettings and

tenancy management service to London’s residential market for more than

50 years.

Experts in both short and long term lets, our ARLA-qualified teams advise

landlords and applicants on every aspect of the lettings process – from handling

viewings and taking care of references, to managing the tenancy long-term; and

how to maximise their rental investment or rental portfolio.

Our expertise and strong understanding of the ever-changing legalities of the

sector, mean landlords often retain D&G as their rental property partner for

many years.

Property ManagementFor landlords who are unable, or don’t wish to manage their own property, we offer a dedicated Property

Management Department. They’ll make sure the property is well-maintained, and that any problems are

dealt with in a professional and timely fashion.

The D&G Property Management Team carry out regular property checks, and are always on-hand to

provide help to both landlords and tenants.

Home Move & ManagementMoving house, or managing a property can sometimes feel like a full-time job.

Which is why we created our Home Management Service – to relieve you of

the stresses of day-to-day tasks and fiddly admin, as well as dealing with

one-off emergencies.

Acting as your ‘property PA’, a dedicated D&G Home Manager will become

a friendly, singular point of contact – giving you access to a comprehensive

database of tried and trusted contractors, with whom we’ve negotiated

preferential corporate rates.

Residential Developments D&G office managers use their deep understanding of the residential market to

offer the best possible advice and services across all aspects of land acquisition,

property development and the marketing and sales of new homes.

We have the expertise to advise on all types of projects, from helping you realise

the full potential of an existing property to investment advice in large-scale

regenerations.

In addition to sales and acquisitions, the investments side of D&G has specialist

knowledge of the private rental sector (PRS) and regulated

& life tenancies.

When required, our Residential Developments can draw on expertise from

other areas of the business. Of particular importance is their alignment with

Professional Valuations, Property Management and

D&G Asset Management.

Corporate ServicesD&G’s Corporate Services Department was established to minimise the cost,

time and stress associated with corporate relocation rental contracts. And over

the years, the department has established itself as a leader within the industry –

offering professionalism, flexibility and a high quality, attentive service.

Working closely with HR professionals, relocation agents and their consultants,

we make sure properties are marketed to a wide range of corporate tenants

moving within, or to London. The Corporate Services client list includes

organisations such as KPMG, Disney, JPMorgan, Ralph Lauren and HSBC.

Professional ValuationsOur Professional Valuations Department has been carrying out formal valuations

in central London since 1979.

Made up of qualified Chartered Surveyors, our team has extensive experience in

all aspects of residential and commercial valuations, with a particular focus on

leasehold extensions and enfranchisement work – and are on-hand to offer help

and advice, as and when it’s needed.

Working with both one-off and retained clients, the department also provides

valuations for bank lending, tax purposes, matrimonial disputes, probate and

expert witness work.

Refurbishment & Interior ServicesWhether it’s a quick makeover to get your property photo-ready,

or project managing a comprehensive redesign of your home

and grounds, our dedicated Refurbishment & Interior Services

Department are here to help.

Putting their years of experience to good use, they’ll

make appropriate, cost-effective, timeless design choices.

Helping your property sell or rent quickly, and for the

best possible price.

Block ManagementEstablished in 1988, D&G Block Management now take care of over 5,500

properties in and around central London, encompassing all sizes and styles –

including residential, commercial and AST units.

Priding themselves on exceptional customer care, proactive management

and retention of clients, D&G Block Management offer financial management

of buildings; service charge/ground rent collection and placement for

service contracts.

The department can manage on-site staff (including concierge, porterage

and cleaning), day-to-day repair and redecoration, together with the

administration of larger building refurbishment and repair contracts.

Residential Partners Limited, a subsidiary of D&G Block Management,

administer direct staff management and also provide company secretarial

services to our clients.

Making a DifferenceHere at D&G, we believe corporate social responsibility

is about a genuine commitment to building a better society.

So every year, we support a number of national charities including Bob

Champion Cancer Trust, The Lullaby Trust, St Mungo’s Homeless charity & the

NSPCC. And, at a grassroots level, local organisations such as Spencer Cricket

Club in Earlsfield, along with many events within local schools and communities.
