Outline Content ARCS

Introduction Tell learner we have a Code of Conduct (COC)

Attention: Story about corruption prior to COCs being standard practice

Code of Conduct Location

Show the learner where to find the COC

Attention: Use learners’ current habits of looking up policies and use that to show them that the COC is in the same place

Code of Conduct Review

Step through the COC and highlight areas

Relevance: Use examples for why each piece of the COC is applicable to their role (hint – learn about learners roles first!)

Ask learners questions about the COC

Confidence: Use real-world scenarios in the game/assessment that aren’t too difficult but not too easy to create flow

Conclusion Provide feedback about the learners’ success
