I’m from Yankton, South Dakota

I’m an elementary and special education major with a Spanish minor

I’m a member of the Coyotes swimming and diving team

Hobbies/Activities

AWOL› I will be going to New

Orleans over spring break to help rebuild houses destroyed by Hurricane Katrina

Swimming› The college swim season

runs from September through February

› We practice about fourteen hours a week and have meets most weekends

I am a part of the Conference Team for swimming and diving

We will be in Indianapolis from February 16-21

This will be the first Summit League Championship for the Coyotes Swimming and Diving Team

Activities

My favorite activity has always been swimming.

I have been swimming since I was five.

Some of my favorite memories are from swim practice, swim meets, or traveling to the meets

Professional Goals

I hope to be working as a lower elementary teacher or as a special education teacher at any grade level

I also hope to be a swim coach.

In ten years…

I hope to be secure in a teaching position

I hope to be living in South Dakota

I hope I will have started a family

I also hope to be a swim coach working especially with younger swimmers

Miscellaneous

I am engaged and getting married October, 1 2011.

I have known my fiancé for seven years.

We both swam for the club team in Yankton
