IDEAM CONCERT HALLLittle Italy, San DiegoThis program for this project involves a concert hall and a music center. The challenge of this design is the fact that the building, which has many sound sensitive spaces, has to contend with the fact that it is loca-tion next to the train tracks. Acousti-cal design as well as voids and solids resulted in this form.

APPLE STORE AND SATELLITE OFFICELittle Italy, San DiegoThe objective of this project was to design an Apple store and office space. The challenges involved zoning restrictions in San DIego’s Little Italy, along with circulation and sustainability. The design is a transparent facade, revealing voided and solid spaces.
STUDY ABROADRomeThis project was featured at the Domus Academy exhibition in Milan, Italy. This trip focused on the study of ancient Roman and Baroque Architecture in Italy. My personal research involved analyzing the geometry and patterns found in the Colos-seum. I compared that with the design of the Square Colosseum, a fascist architec-tural building. The comparison resulted in a model that takes certain characteristics from each building and morphes into an intricate, intertwined, geometric pattern based on views through passageways.

CONCERT HALLBelfast, Ireland
In this project, I designed a concert hall on the River Lagan in Northern Ireland. The concept is a shell, like that of a violin, or a ship, that encloses the sound, yet reveals por-tions of it. The design was inspired by the location, which is near the ship-yards, and the music of the Irish culture.
