He was the youngest of 7 childrenHe had middle ear infections at an early age
witch soon led to partly deafWhen he was fifteen he saved a telegraph
workers son from being hit by a train The telegraph workers son showed his
gratitude by showing him how a telegraph works
How he is famous

His first invention was the phonographHe was then inspired to re improve the light
bulb by making it electric and long lastingHe bought thousands of light bulbs and
thousands exploded. He used many materials and many failed
Then he finally concluded and invented the light bulb
How he helped us
Thomas Edison helped me say what I am nowI wouldn't see what I'm supposed to say!Edison started the generation of recordings.
First came the phonograph then came the record player then came tapes and last is the modern day c.ds
He died on october 18 1931
