City Lit

City Lit Ideology

“You can’t learn a language in 2 hours per week”– Provide support for learning outside the classroom

“Where appropriate”– It may not be appropriate or necessary to use technology for all

parts of all subjects

– Technology appropriate to class, we do not insist on use of specific systems

“Technology cannot make a poor teacher good, but it can make a good teacher excellent”

– Use of technology should not be seen as a box ticking exercise, but part of on-going improvements to teaching
